From Alex: This film changed not only how I view film but also changed my life and my love of film. I know Kevin Smith is a polarizing figure. Love his work or think it’s just meh, he inspired a lot of your favorite independent film makers. He deserves his flowers.

Guess who’s back? That’s right NSIP*ers! We’re back after a year long sabbatical from the podcast to wrestle demons, evil f@scist government cronies, and the occasional schoolyard bully. We’ve returned to bring you movie reviews of films some might say you probably should have seen **ahem… **

On this episode we pay tribute to the dearly departed, the one and only, the legend, P*e Wee Herman (AKA Paul Reubens) as we review P*e Wee’s Big Adventure. This episode we discuss our Children’s Educational TV icons, question if had watched the right movie (P*eP*e’s Big Adventure???), and get sidetracked quite often. Hey, we’ve been away for a year. Give us some slack.

Episode 40 drops this Friday morning. You’ll find it on Spotify and iTunes. Also, starting with episode 40 you can now watch our ugly mugs on YouTube! Check out the link in our bio.

Before the trend of people starting podcasts because they were stuck inside due to a global pandy, in 2012 we had our first podcast, The Poor Decisions Podcast. If you’re resourceful and know how to use a computer you might be able to find remnants of our old show. Here is one of our favorite guests, Sid, owner of . Probably our most tame show but it was nice to have a conversation with a man that we respect greatly for being a huge part of the resurgence of a comic book community in the Coachella Valley.

Hello NSIP*ers! This Tuesday we’ve got a brand new episode for you. One with soul. One with style. One with class. One with a love story. This week’s episode is One From the Heart; directed by Francis Ford Coppola. You read that correctly, a love story by none other than the director of such classic films as The Godfather 1 and 2 as well as Apocalypse Now. And as you’d guess correctly it’s a love story told in a way that only he can.

We also have a very special guest with us this week, of the LA punk band

New episode! 🚨📣🎙

The famiglia gathers at the request of our resident Italian to pay homage to the quintessential Italian-American crime drama. Yes, this year marks the 50th anniversary of the Francis Ford Coppola directed adaptation of Mario Puzo's 1969 crime novel - The Godfather. The Godfather tells the story of the Corleone family, one of the five major New York Italian mafia families over the course of a decade, from 1945 to 1955, as they navigate the world of organized crime. This film is stacked with a powerhouse cast, featuring Marlon Brando, Al Pacino, James Caan, Diane Keaton, and Robert Duvall.

The Godfather is jam-packed with Italian music, language, food, and culture, intermixed with scenes of graphic violence that plagued these criminal families over the decades. While much of the story development centers around this life of violent crime, the one theme ever-present throughout the film, is that of family. So, fire up a pot of marinara while you dip your bread into this installment of the Never Seen It Podcast.

Weeeee’re baaaaack!

Back from the dead, just in time for Halloween, the group reunites to watch the 1987 horror classic - Hellraiser.

Written and directed by Clive Barker based on his novella series The Hellbound Heart

This film introduces one of the horror genre's most iconic villains, Pinhead or "Lead Cenobite" as the character is credited.

The group discusses fashion in the S*M scene, why the dubbing is so bad, and the missed opportunity of Butterball being the horror icon rather than Pinhead.

Follow us on and on and make sure you’re following us that way you get notified whenever we release a new episode!

Well folks, if you’re an avid listener of our show then you know that we announced that episode eight would be our last episode for the foreseeable future.

Looking back on this past year and a half, making this show has been a blast. We’re floored that we produced 30 episodes. Our intent was to create the podcast in seasons so 30 episodes in three seasons has been par for the course. We started producing the show a few months before the pandy and had to quickly shift to producing the show via online meetups. At the time no one was going anywhere so it was easy to make the show. However as time has passed going back to work became a must and finding a schedule that worked for everyone became more and more a difficulty. To add on, several of us have moved away from the desert, which logistically shouldn’t be too difficult since we’ve already been doing things online. However, as anyone who has moved to a different city, finding a groove and getting used to your surroundings can take a while. So we decided to make the decision to put the show on indefinite hiatus.

We are still all dedicated to creating content for the Never Seen It website but at this time the podcast has to be put on hold. What the future holds we have no clue especially in this point in our history. Yet we’re here for movies and pop culture as it’s a wonderful escape from the uncertain world we live in.

Thanks to all of you who were dedicated listeners. We hope you continue to enjoy all of our future projects but for now we say farewell to this iteration of the Never Seen It Podcast.
