When I saw my 5 year old doing multiplications because she had a foundation of Skip Counting, I knew I had to make a book about it.

Skip Counting is the method of counting forward by numbers other than 1 where you add the same number over and over to make a pattern. It is simply counting while skipping a number or multiple numbers in between.

This book introduces skip counting by 2s, 3s, 4s, 5s, and 10s. Activity sheets are used for practice and to help students build confidence with numbers

Inspired by two little girls that loved to show their pin poking activities from Montessori school, I quickly discovered that there was not any pin poking activity books easily found for them to do during their holidays or weekends.

Pushpin (or Pin Poking) activity is very popular within the Montessori classroom, as it helps develop and refine fine motor skills. Developing and strengthening fine motor skills for young learners at the beginning of their learning journey can help them towards gaining independence. Refining fine motor skills allows children to complete tasks like writing, feeding oneself, buttoning, and zipping.

Level 1 is for beginners. It starts with straight lines and increases to curved lines.

Level 2 is a little more advanced. It expands on the curved lines and increases to complex designs.
