It’s been a year since doing my 1st gut reset and maintaining the 80/20 plan…

🧠 It gets so much easier. You know exactly what to eat and what to stay away from— it will become INTUITIVE!

💪💆‍♀️Taking care of your body and what you put in it daily is what ACTUAL SELF CARE looks like.

Also— the discomfort you’ll feel when you do have those 20% days, will make you run right back to your good habits!

✨MY RECENT BAD DAY✨

☕️2 cups of coffee with all the trimmings
🥧 Pumpkin pie
🍪Oreo chocolate pie
🍟Fried food
🍹 Alcohol

⚡️Literally— instantly after:⚡️

-I couldn’t sleep😳

-my heart was pounding out of my chest🫀

-woke up in anxiety 😥
(it gave me flash back to my worst days of anxiety and panic attacks)

-I could feel the bloating come back 🤰

-I had zero energy the next day😴

Your gut is your body’s 2nd 🧠

I’m such a huge advocate for healing our gut after my results…it’s not just for appearance, it’s also for your mind.

Your gut and your brain communicate to regulate health and disease!

Your central nervous system receives constant neural and chemical signals from your gut!

EXAMPLES:

Today, I want to share a workout routine to implement this week.

I go straight to stretches and these quick workouts right when I wake up and before I even have a second to think!

In the beginning, I even rolled out my yoga mat at the end of my bed before going to sleep. It acted as a visual reminder in the morning.

(For current 30DTHL clients, these will be reminders to keep your healthy habits going!)

Disclaimer: I am NOT a personal trainer, please follow these at your own risk!

I suggest watching youtube videos for proper form if you don't know how to perform them! (If you're a 30 Days to Healthy Living (Gut Reset) client, there is a video to show you how to do these. You can view it by using the link on page 42 in your guide)

Spend ten minutes before your workout with warming up (walk or jog).

Spend 10 minutes after working out with stretching.

BEGINNERS: Repeat each circuit 3x with 60 second rest between sets.

ADVANCED: Repeat each circuit 5x with 60 second rest between sets.

If you're one who has a hard time getting any kind of motivation or movement going, just make it a goal today to do: 10 sit-ups, 10 squats, and 10 pushups!

Today, we're going to talk about working out-- before you even get out of bed!
I'm such a big fan of this habit, because not only is it easy, but it sets you up to have a good day!

𝐁 𝐄 𝐃 𝐘 𝐎 𝐆 𝐀!
Have you heard of this before?
It's all the yoga poses before you even bring out the mat.
1.) Child's pose
2.) Child's pose variation (for back, arm, and shoulder stretch)
3.) Cat/Cow pose
4.) Cobra
5.) Head to knee
6.) Happy baby pose

That's it!
Now you can roll out of bed and onto the yoga mat that you rolled out last night and do some more poses and other calisthenics!

The before photo was taken right before I started the program last year.

I was bloated, had low energy, high anxiety and couldn’t fit most of my clothes.

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
1/8 teaspoon ground cloves
(Batched for future use)
Add to your taste

I like to make this in batch so I can add to some of the Arbonne smoothies/shakes:

Do you ever go through periods when you don’t want to take pictures, because you don’t recognize yourself in them?

𝙂𝙪𝙩 𝙝𝙚𝙖𝙡𝙩𝙝 is so important! I’m not talking losing weight…I’m talking about detoxing and helping give your body what it needs!

I went through periods of really bad anxiety, depression, and then didn’t even want to take pictures…but then I think back to those years and wonder what even happened, because I didn’t have photos to reminisce with.

The best protein snack to keep you full!

I had a few people ask for this during the Arbonne brunch over the weekend:

** for the chocolate, I used 14 allergen free "EnjoyLife" brand
** for the rice cakes, I used "Friendly Grains" Crunchy Rollers
** for the Gluten Free rolled oats, I found the "Bob's Red Mill" Rolled Oats (it's in a light purple bag)
--I found all of these in Publix
