We have been so lucky to work with some of the best wedding vendors, and just overall people out there. These individuals are not only great at what they do, but they also go above and beyond what’s expected of them to make everyone’s experience better. We can’t get enough of them. We are so excited to partner with each of them in a giveaway that we think anyone planning a wedding would love! 🫶🏻

This giveaway has a few moving parts, so let’s get into the details:

ONCE YOU’VE ENTERED:
- Keep an eye on your DMS❗️Within 24hours you will get a DM from letting you know if they have your date available. If they do, you will receive a list of the other vendors who are also available.
- Once you’ve received the DM, make sure to check out each slide to see what each vendor is offering—each one is offering something unique! ✨ From there, inquire with + any of the vendors you’re interested in that are available, specifying you’re from the giveaway by typing “GIVEAWAY” in your inquiry.

From there, each vendor will respond to your inquiry, and all that will be left to do is to lock in your date with them! ❤️‍🔥

We wanted to go big, and that’s why in this giveaway, there’s no single winner—as long as we have your date available, anyone and everyone can win! 🥳

The Giveaway will be open for 2 weeks (11/12/24), any entries after that will not be considered. None of the offerings are applied without also booking . Travel fees are not covered under this giveaway. Giveaway does not apply to couples already booked with vendors included in the giveaway.

after getting a pretty large response from a good deal of our friends on a private story of ours, and encouraging us to share, we give to you all some thoughts we’ve been having lately:

moments have been heavy on our hearts lately, specifically wedding day moments. your dad seeing you in your wedding dress, the first look with your soon to be husband, and many more—all those once in a lifetime moments that we’ve been given the honor of capturing. the last couple of years we’ve seen a big social media push of “your wedding is your day”, “live in the moment”, “it’s not about the content”. we LOVE these sentiments; however, often in person on wedding day, we don’t see those sentiments being honored. whether it be a planner stepping in during the middle of a moment to hand a tissue when no one is asking for one, a photographer saying “stop there, okay now smile, okay now look down, DON’T TURN AROUND”, we’ve seen many a moment taken over by an outside agenda/ to do list. ❗️this is where we will add our disclaimer that this is not about any one person, or type of vendor—this is bigger than that, and stretches into every corner of the wedding industry, including us as well. we’ve all been guilty. ❗️

we can edit out a rogue tripod, even a person in the background that shouldn’t be there—not easily, but we can. however, no amount of editing can fix the disappointed look on a brides face when she’s being micromanaged about how to see her soon to be husband for the first time. or a dad who’s flustered because he feels like if he turns over the wrong shoulder, he will ruin seeing his daughter as a bride for the first time. we as wedding vendors (specifically photographers, videographers, and planners) have such a special opportunity to make these moments happen/ capture them. we can’t micromanage them to the max, and then turn around and say “it’s your moment, pretend we aren’t here”. when we do this we are putting our agenda/ to-do list first, over these once in a lifetime moments.

once again, we are all guilty. we just have to do better for the couples we are serving, no ifs, ands, or buts.

5 years ago this time, we were just an hour from finally getting married. Today, we are waking up after filming a wedding yesterday, all to go film another today. Every wedding we get to film is a reminder of those promises we made in 2019, today even more so. We talk all the time about how privileged we feel getting to do this job together, but it’s really life—we just feel so grateful to be doing this life together. Can’t imagine a better way to celebrate/ reflect on the last 5 years than spending the day together, and helping capture the start of someone else’s 5 years + many more. 🤍

Really feel like the video speaks for itself, so we won’t take up much space here. However, if there’s one video you watch of ours, we’ve gotta recommend this one. We could go on about the location, and overall aesthetic, but it’s really the love in this video that puts it over the top. The love between Miranda and Dominic, the love their families have for them to literally travel across the world for them—it’s just absolutely everything and more. 🤍

Just got the news this morning that Andrew Mead,and I (Claire Mead) were nominated for videographer of the year in KC?! So so crazy to just be finishing out our second year of business, and to be honored in this way. We are SO grateful for all of the friends, family, couples, and other wedding vendors who have made our dreams come true—we can’t do any of this without you guys! 🤍

To whoever nominated us, we will find you, and thank you profusely!!!! 🥰

if you’re new here, welcome!! we are so happy to have you following along with us. we are andrew + claire mead, we’ve been together for almost 10 years, and married 4 years on thursday! 🥰 together, we are super passionate about creating memories for couples to look back on for a lifetime, and having fun while doing it!
some fun facts about us:
- we are based in Manhattan, KS (go cats), but absolutely love to travel
-we have a dog (cash), and cat (henry) that we absolutely love (well, andrew is kind of indifferent to henry)
-andrew is fueled by coffee, while claire is fueled by tacos
-if we film, or even just attend your wedding, claire is guaranteed to break out her sick dance moves, while andrew looks on in what we will call amazement. 😉

we have so much to look forward to this year, and can’t wait to keep sharing our adventures with you guys.🤩 thanks for being here.

The McKinney’s

Guys, Saturday was the absolute best. Milea, and Michael (plus their family and friends) put on one hell of a wedding. From the sweet ceremony, to the most fun reception (which was at Milea’s family farm 🥹), everything was so intentional and fun from start to finish. A night under the stars was the perfect celebration of the now Mr. & Mrs. McKinney. As always, can’t wait to share more soon. 🤍

A sweet spring morning wedding. 🥰 For anyone who knows Andrew and I personally, you know that we are coming up on 4 years of our own spring morning wedding back in 2019. Weddings are always a sweet reminder to us of our own promises to each other, but this one felt extra special/ close to home. What a joy it was to watch Amber and Joel come together as one, with God in the center! Looking forward to seeing them move forward together as the new MR. & MRS. HUTFLES, and we can’t wait to share more of their day soon. 🤍

There’s truly so much that we could say about Natalie and Tommy’s wedding, but we keep coming back to the overwhelming feeling of love and anticipation on that day. 11 years is no short amount of time when waiting for forever, but Tommy and Natalie knew they wanted to wait until it felt absolutely perfect, and it was. 🤍

Almost 3 months later, Tommy’s vows continue replaying in our heads (or at least Claire’s 🥰):
“Most of all, I swear I will love you more. I don’t mean that in a competitive way, like I love you more than you love me—no. I mean, I love you more than all the tough times we will ever have. I love you more than any distance that comes between us. I love you more than any of my words can describe. I will love you more, each and every day. I swear, I will always love you more. Forever, and always.”

We feel so lucky to have been apart of this day, and have nothing but love for THE LUU’s. 🫶🏻

Natalie + Tommy

Last Saturday was a big day in two ways. Not only did Natalie and Tommy tie the knot after 11 years, but we had our final wedding of 2022! The whole day was so special, and we couldn’t have asked for a better wedding to close out our year. We can’t wait to share more from these fellow “high school sweethearts” day, until then—we hope they are having the absolute best time in Hawaii! 🤩

The Gregory’s

When Erica and Colin reached out to us about their rooftop wedding in downtown KC, we were hooked, I mean what else is there to say? However, getting to actually be apart of their day with them and their family/friends was 10x more special than we could’ve thought.

It was said multiple times through the night that Erica and Colin have the ability to make anyone feel seen and welcome—which is pretty clear just by the size of their bridal parties, and even their wedding guests. What really made that clear to us though, is watching Erica go around to literally every vendor (including us), and taking the time out of HER wedding day to individually thank them and make sure that they had a good time. It may not sound like a lot, but that’s something we won’t forget.

Jordan + Tegan

Saturday was so fun all around. First off, these two are finally “The White’s”, and the absolute joy/ giddiness they showed throughout the day was so sweet to witness! 🤩 Second, Tegan and Jordan reached out to us to film their wedding via common friends/connections we all had, and their wedding felt like such a fun celebration with a lot of those same friends, even though we were there to “work”. This full wedding video is going to be so special to put together, and we cant wait to share it soon!

On a slightly separate note: days like Saturday are what makes us truly grateful to be doing what we are doing. We are even more grateful for the amount of support we’ve received from all of you. Truly, without all of the encouragement, recommendations, etc. we would not be here. We could have all the talent in the world, but we are nothing without our people. It’s been such a fun year, and we aren’t done yet!

The rain cleared up, and the sun came out to allow for sweetest, and most intentional day to take place.

There’s something so refreshing about Dalton and Elizabeth that was evident not only through their wedding day, but just who they are as people: two people who love each other, and love their people. It was so sweet to have the privilege to not only witness, but capture the culmination of that. We are so excited to share more of their day soon.
