The BEST fall-off-the-bone ribs that melt in your mouth oven baked BBQ ribs. You know they were good when everyone thought they were store-bought 🙊☺️

Marinated to perfection and glazed with homemade barbecue sauce for that irresistible flavor. Time to dig in! 🍖

INGREDIENTS
🐮 5 pounds of beef back ribs

FOR THE MARINADE
🐮1 cup canola or vegetable oil
🐮1/2 cup cider vinegar
🐮3 tablespoons packed brown sugar
🐮1 tablespoon plus 1 teaspoon soy sauce
🐮1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
🐮1 teaspoon garlic powder
🐮1/2 teaspoon onion powder
🐮1/2 teaspoon kosher salt

BARBECUE SAUCE [optional, can use BBQ sauce]
🐮2 tablespoons unsalted butter
🐮1 1/2 cups ketchup
🐮1/3 cup Worcestershire sauce
🐮1/4 cup steak sauce or marinade
🐮2 tablespoons unsulfured molasses
🐮1/2 teaspoon onion powder
🐮1/8 teaspoon liquid smoke
🐮Freshly ground pepper

🍖 For the Marinade:

Mix all the marinade ingredients together until well blended. Place the ribs in a large baking dish and pour the marinade over them. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or preferably overnight, occasionally basting the ribs.

Preheat the oven to 300°F. Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake the ribs for 2 hours.

Increase the oven temperature to 350°F. Remove the foil, baste the ribs with barbecue sauce, and continue baking for another 45 minutes, basting every 15 minutes. The ribs should be tender, with the meat easily falling off the bone.

Serve the ribs with the remaining barbecue sauce on the side.

🍖 For the Barbecue Sauce [optional]:

In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the remaining ingredients, whisking until well combined. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce to a simmer. Cook until the sauce thickens, about 10 minutes.

Over the weekend, we had the joy of entertaining our families for dinner. Even though they have visited our house numerous times before, this was the first time that I had cooked an entire meal for all of us to relish. I prepared dishes that were cherished by each family member individually, making it a truly unforgettable experience for us. We are immensely grateful for this opportunity to host our families and spend quality time with them.

To ensure that everything went smoothly, I relied on the notes on my phone, where I had jotted down the ingredients for each menu item. This helped me to be well-prepared & organized to cook and plate each dish to perfection ensuring I wasn’t forgetting anything. For appetizers, I served bang bang shrimp, followed by homemade chicken shawarma with various toppings and sauces, along with my own version of tabbouleh salad, a yogurt and dill salad, shawarma rice, beef skewers, and garlic parmesan potatoes for mains. To end the meal on a sweet note, I made a French toast casserole for dessert.

It goes without saying that the meal turned out to be amazing. Hosting season has officially begun, and it filled our hearts with joy to see our families relishing our home & the food we prepared with love. This experience has left us with cherished memories that we will cherish for a lifetime.

Special thanks to my husband for helping me put everything together! ♥️

🤲🏻🧿
