Whale Hunter Records We are a record label out the Eastern Panhandle, West Virginia. Our artists are some of the finest Richard rediscovered the magic of music. Are you big?

Whale Hunter Records began with Richard Bowen, and he started with a vision, "to find the best local talent that wants to work towards putting out music that fullfills their dreams". And it was all because sometime in the year 2003 Richard started playing the Piano again, a hobby he had put aside many years before. Plunking away on some plastic Casio keys caused a tiny spark; that tiny spark ignit

ed a fire. He played in a few local bands, and realized something while playing gigs: there is A LOT of talent out there! Wanting to put locals on, he learned to record and mix music, slowly built a studio, and honed his craft working with local musicians. Inevitably, Whale Hunter Records was born and the first album released, Jake Trenary's "The Juanita Sessions". Ever thirsty he has started working with local talent to bring the world more music. Whale Hunter Records is looking for the biggest creatures in the sea.
