How or why has society changed to giving ultimate care to our pets?but completely ignoring human society? I love animals but dogs drink when they are thirsty without a collapsible rubber bowl! Yet pensioner's, who survived and lost in ww2, die in their homes, through starvation and exposure to the cold. And no one cares! But their dog gets regular hair cuts and you worry about their mental health. I love animals. But when did we forget the people who gave everything to give us our way of life? Parent of a 12 Yr old.... I think we've got ourselves in an awful situation that we should be ashamed of! I know I'm ashamed of being English. My kid will know and understand the truth of life.
