CLAT EXAM- YOUR GATEWAY TO BECOME A LAWYER JUST AFTER 12th

Introduction to CLAT Exam

The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is a national-level entrance exam conducted for admission to undergraduate and postgraduate law programs offered by various National Law Universities (NLUs) and other participating institutions across India. CLAT aims to assess the candidate's aptitude and ability to pursue a legal education and is a crucial step for aspiring law students in India.

Objectives of CLAT Exam

The primary objective of the CLAT exam is to streamline the admission process to undergraduate and postgraduate law programs in India. By conducting a standardized entrance test, CLAT aims to:

1. Provide a fair and transparent mechanism for selecting candidates based on their merit.

2. Facilitate admissions to NLUs and other prestigious law schools in India.

3. Assess candidates' aptitude, reasoning skills, and legal knowledge required for a career in law.

Eligibility Criteria for CLAT Exam

A. Undergraduate (UG) Program

- Candidates must have completed 10+2 or its equivalent examination from a recognized board.
- The minimum aggregate marks required vary from institute to institute, typically ranging from 45% to 50%.
- Candidates appearing in the qualifying examination in the same year of the CLAT exam are also eligible to apply.

B. Postgraduate (PG) Program

- Candidates must have completed a LL.B. or its equivalent degree from a recognized university.
- The minimum aggregate marks required may vary depending on the university, generally ranging from 50% to 55%.
- Candidates appearing in the final year of their LL.B. degree or equivalent are also eligible to apply.

Age Criteria

- There is no upper age limit for appearing in the CLAT exam, both for UG and PG programs.

Exam Pattern and Syllabus

A. Undergraduate (UG) Program

- Mode of Examination: CLAT UG is conducted in offline mode (pen and paper-based).
- Duration: The exam duration is two hours.
- Type of Questions: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
- Total Marks: CLAT UG is of 120 marks.
- Subjects Covered: The CLAT UG exam consists of questions from the following areas:
- English Language
- Current Affairs, including General Knowledge
- Legal Reasoning
- Logical Reasoning
- Quantitative Techniques

B. Postgraduate (PG) Program

- Mode of Examination: CLAT PG is conducted in offline mode.
- Duration: The exam duration is two hours.
- Type of Questions: Objective and Subjective type questions.
- Total Marks: CLAT PG is of 120 marks.
- Subjects Covered: The CLAT PG exam assesses candidates' proficiency in the following areas:
- Constitutional Law
- Jurisprudence
- Other law subjects such as Contract, Torts, Criminal Law, International Law, IPR, etc.

Sainik Schools Entrance Exam to be held in January

31/10/2022
Sainik Schools entrance exam will be held in January for 51 Sainik Schools across the country. These Sainik Schools will include the 18 new ones recently started by the Ministry of Defence.

In Uttarakhand Examination will be held in 8 cities viz Almora, Dehradun, Haldwani, Kotdwar, Pithoragarh, Roorkee, Rudrapur and Srinagar.

National Testing Agency (NTA) has invited online applications for admission to classes 6 and 9 in Sainik Schools across the country for the academic year 2023-24. The deadline for the application with the prescribed fee is 30th November, 2022.

The candidates can seek admission in class 6 and class 9. Whereas in 18 new Sainik Schools opened in different states, admission will be given in class 6 only.

The entrance test will be pen paper based (OMR sheet based). Whose pattern will be multiple choice. Girls will also be able to get admission in class 6.

DU's FIRST ADMISSION LIST TOMORROW

The Delhi University will release its first Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) list tomorrow.

Qualified students will be able to see their the course and college that they have been allocated, on their Common University Entrance Test (CUET) dashboard. Their highest possible preference will be allocated. The course and college allocation will depend on CUET rank, availability of seats, the category they belong to, and their preference.

Once a seat has been allocated, the candidate has till 5pm on October 22 to accept the provisional seat. In case a candidate is offered multiple seats, they must accept only one allocated seat.

Once the candidate accepts the seat, the concerned college will check the student’s eligibility and documents uploaded. After verification, the college will approve or reject the candidate by October 22, and in case of approval, the candidate has till October 24 to pay the admission fees.

उत्तराखंड लोक सेवा आयोग ने 6427 पदों पर भर्ती का कैलेंडर जारी किया ।

उत्तराखंड लोक सेवा आयोग ने विभिन्न विभागों में रिक्त समूह ग के 6427 पदों पर भर्ती का एक और कैलेंडर जारी कर दिया। आयोग के अध्यक्ष डॉ. राकेश कुमार के अनुसार ये सभी परीक्षा वर्ष 2022 और 2023 के बीच आयोजित की जाएंगी।

सोमवार को कैलेंडर जारी करते हुए उन्होंने बताया कि वर्ष 2022 के शुरू में जारी यूकेपीएससी के मुख्य वार्षिक परीक्षा के कैलेंडर में 23 परीक्षाएं तय की गई थीं। उनमें 18 को पूरा करा लिया गया है।

बाकी चार को इसी साल अंत तक पूरा कर लिया जाएगा। इनमें पीसीएस मुख्य परीक्षा-2021 का आयोजन दिनांक 12 से 15 नवम्बर, 2022 के दौरान किया जाना सम्मिलित है तथा शेष एक वन क्षेत्राधिकारी परीक्षा को स्थगित किया गया है।

● पुलिस 1521 पद पुलिस आरक्षी, पीएसी,आईआरबी, अग्निशामक, विज्ञप्ति 7अक्तूबर को और परीक्षा 10 दिसंबर 2022 में
