The Official Beyond the Yard Trailer

Our team had an incredible summer creating this short film and we’re so excited to start sharing more about it. Beyond the Yard was filmed over 3 days during 4th of July weekend on Johns Island, SC with a crew of only 3-6 at any given time.

After a couple weeks in post production, the film premiered at the Made in the Carolinas contest and won awards for Best Actress and Best Cinematography! We’re currently showcasing the film in the festival circuit and can’t post publicly just yet, but give us a DM if you want a private link. Runtime is 5 minutes.

Our film “Beyond the Yard” took home two awards this week at the Made in Carolinas 2021 Film Project:
Best Cinematogrphy and
Best Actress to our lead

It was such a pleasure meeting everyone in our local film community this week and even catching up with some old friends and collaborators. We’re definitely looking forward to seeing everyone again next year. A big Thank You to everyone who helped host this event and the friends and family who watched and supported from home!

Beyond the Yard is not currently available to watch or stream publicly, but keep checking back for updates on all our projects.

Happy Friday folks! Our short Beyond the Yard is screening at the Made in Carolinas project hosted by the THIS TUESDAY. There’s screenings both in person and virtually so go get your tickets.

The Quiet Frame team had a great holiday weekend shooting with This incredible young woman is an amazing creative partner to have on set and we can’t wait to work with her again. This film has some great performances and awesome set pieces and we’re so excited to be able to share it this fall.
