Small Town Scanner If you've ever lived in a small town, these scanner calls will feel just right. If you've never live

Just when you think you've herd everything.

On July 15th, our King County Sheriff's Office Communications Center received a call from a delivery driver stating that he was unable to deliver a package due to a llama standing in the middle of the road and blocking traffic.

King County Deputy Paczosa responded to the location and sure enough, found said llama in the roadway and refusing to move. Using his de-escalation skills and standing just a tad over spitting distance, Deputy Paczosa was able to sweet talk him into putting on a leash to get him off the roadway.

Soon after, the communications center received another call, this time from someone reporting their llama missing. We were happy to reunite the owner back to their furry friend, and the driver was able to deliver the package, most likely ordered through Llama-zon.

Good evening,

We know the nights are still a little chilly and sometimes your piggies can get a little cold. That said, we would like to remind everyone the best place to warm up your socks is in the clothes dryer, not the microwave. Otherwise you may set off the fire alarm and meet some new friends!!

For Immediate Release No. 2020-024
December 10, 2020

MEDIA ADVISORY / PRESS RELEASE

Calls have been received regarding Coyotes howling at night and Coyote sightings. Let me assure you, living in the country, you will both hear and see Coyotes.

Coyotes are usually nocturnal, but they do show themselves during the day. Just because you see one or hear one does not mean you should call the police No, do not call 911.

However, there are certain behaviors that are cause for alarm by Coyotes and they are:
• Coyotes dropping anvils from hot air balloons
• Coyotes in possession of a giant magnet
• Coyotes in possession of “TNT”
• Coyotes carrying product marked “ACME”
• Coyotes posting signs such as “detour” or “free bird seed”
• Coyotes in possession of a catapult
• Coyotes on roller skates with rockets attached

Please … call 911 immediately if you witness any of the above behavior by COYOTES.

UWWPD had an interesting call for service yesterday that involved trying to capture Severus the mini horse, who had so much fun on campus he didn’t want to go home. Severus gave himself a rather lengthy tour of campus and with the help of campus staff from Uww Health-Counseling, UW-W UC-Student Activities & Involvement, and other helpful citizens, Severus was safely apprehended and loaded into his trailer to head home. Thanks to all that helped out to capture that fast little horse!

This is not a dating site however I do admire someone who tries to pick up an entire police department. However he has been banned so any officers interested are on their own 😂
