I’ve always loved pattern design and playing around with colors, shapes, and finding inspiration on Pinterest. Using this photo I found, I pulled out a color palette, several shapes, background elements, items and now I get to play around and see what types of patterns I can create. There is so much focus on new years resolutions and revamping your life come Jan 1. Well, if you're anything like me, that probably doesn't work out so well. And then you beat yourself up for it when you ultimately stop going to the gym... dieting... etc.

I'm over all that. I've always put such insane expectations on myself to become a "new me" for the new year. Now, I just want to keep being a better me each year.

Bucket lists always seem like these gigantic out of touch with reality excursions that most likely won't happen because who can afford anything these days, amiright?

So I'm making a bucket list using the handy list in my new 2024 planner. And I'm adding such normal stuff because hell yes I wanna travel far and wide, but I know it's not happening. A trip or 2 yeah, but there's books to read, hobbies to learn, skills to obtain... life can be pretty freaking incredible right here at home.
