A few years ago I took these with my then iPhone 7!
The old Valley View Mall where Sears used to stand. This was the Sears where I bought my very first point and shoot digital camera, a navy blue Sony Cyber-shot. 😎
I have a thing for abandoned buildings, and I had to take a few shots of what was left. This building no longer exists now. Solo memorias.

About a year ago I was driving up to Oklahoma to visit Mt. Scott. I had seen the pretty cool photos my friend and colleague, Gerardo, had taken there so I had to go, take a solo trip, and see it for myself. On my way there I drove by this little town called Bellevue, TX and I saw the water tower, abandoned buildings and out of business gas station. (Side note: for those who don’t know me I love old abandoned buildings, ghost towns and whatnot. Don’t ask me why, I just do! 😎)
So when I saw this I HAD TO STOP BY AND SNAP SOME PICTURES! 🤩😲
Good thing I had my Rolleiflex camera and two rolls of film left so I did what makes me happy.
I hope you enjoy the images as much as I enjoyed taking them and editing them. 🤗✌🏼

His opening exhibition is today, April 23, . You will be able to see the rest of Michael’s work and the long version of this video. The exhibition will run through April 23 - May 21, 2022.

PERSONAL PROJECT!
I call this Home, sweet home.
A place that was once home is now just another house. A house to use as storage. A storage that not just stores material things but also memories. Memories that we hold so deeply in our hearts that they are hard to let go of. Hard to let go of the house that we once called home. A home that my parents worked so hard to buy and make their own. To build a safe roof for my sister and I to grow up in. Something to finally call theirs after years of uncertainty and living under other people’s roofs, feeling less welcome and more like a burden. A home left with work undone and plans soon to be fixed. Left with some pieces of furniture with the hope of one day coming back.
