As it’s Woman’s History Months I wanted to share a little bit of my journey.

When I found out I was pregnant it was everything I ever prayed for. I struggled for a year trying and finally God blessed me with my baby boy.

From the beginning of my pregnancy I struggled with nauseous, sciatic nerve pain and was at risk for preeclampsia. As I got farther along in my pregnancy I felt like i had completely lost myself. I stopped doing the things I love and I began to hate my job. My battle with anxiety got worst.
I was lost.

And now had this new little human to put all of my efforts and time into. Postpartum depression creeped in and and I was no longer taking care of me.

As time went on, I started to slowly feel myself again. Along the way I’ve learned that, I am also a priority. It takes a lot of work, but i started to learn ways to love and accept my body no matter. Shiit i carried and gave birth to a whole human being.

So my point is that loving/accepting yourself is a journey. I don’t love my body everyday,but I try to accept where I am right now.
