It’s with great pleasure that I get to share with the world that Carly and I are having a BABY BOY!!!

We’ve kept it on the low for a while, sharing with family and close friends, nurturing our time together and dreaming of the future. But I can’t hold it back any longer!! I get to be a DAD! Carly is just about 21 weeks along, so come early November, our beautiful boy will enter into the world ready to take action!!! 💪🏼💙

Let’s be honest though…I actually wanted to show you my new shoes.

On the real though, life update: I started a new job which has really been so good for my soul and creative heart/mind. However, I’ve felt slightly inadequate due to my lack of knowledge/experience with things like Photoshop/Illustrator and “cameras” lol. So, as easy as it might be to YouTube the solution, I figured I’d ask my friend who’s wayyyyy more knowledgeable than me to help! And now I feel “adequate!” Haha. Funny how that works. I’m learning!
✨Takeaway from today: If you feel inadequate, God will provide you someone/something that is your “IN” to feel adequate!!
So needless to say, with all the new things going on in life, it doesn’t matter if I’m inadequate or adequate, because God simply is and will provide for His kids!! So, enjoy the journey friends.

Okay so…I was at picking up coffee and a matcha for and decided to take an pic when all of a sudden, the bathroom door flings open about knocking the phone out of my hand and I ended up having a 2-second staring contest with this dude as he was probably wondering why I was so close to the door so I awkwardly squeezed/rushed past him into the bathroom he emerged from to hide the embarrassment of getting caught taking this photo…so slide number two shows the disappointment with myself 😂🤷🏻‍♂️

I experience Jesus very intimately on flights. Usually because I saw the TV Show “Lost” and was scarred forever. But also because I have my headphones on, know literally no one, and have hours to spend thinking, being quiet, and wondering about all sorts of things. My mind mainly goes straight to Heaven. What will it be like? If the plane crashed today…what would Heaven be like? Bleak, maybe. But it’s a reminder that no matter how far I travel, whether by air or foot, my home is in Jesus Christ.

Take time today to ponder, to get quiet, and to wonder what it might be like to be with Jesus Full-Time. Because someday, you will be if you trust Him for salvation and the forgiveness of sins.
Plus what sunset doesn’t make you get all poetic and sappy? 🌅💙
