As the one-year anniversary of the hurricane comes closer, If I could please implore you to try to get to Sanibel at least one time during Sizzle Dining, they could really use your help!

The Bánh mì is the PERFECT sandwich. Rich, savory meat combined with bright and crunchy homemade “pickled” slaw, stuffed into a thin, crispy baguette; what's not to love?!

So Buzzy Ford and I went back to Chef David Rashty’s new place, Bella Mia Italian Cafè in North Naples to try his Italian Sausage Banh Mi Sandwich.

All I will say is WOW! My taste buds haven’t been this alive in a some time! It was to die for and is something I will have cravings about lol 😂

Loaded with Italian sausage, pickled carrots, green papaya, mint, cilantro, jalapeño & a spicy Mayo it was delish and filling.

I will warn you though, it’s spicy, but it wasn’t too hot. I could still taste everything but ask them to tone it down if you don’t like spicy food.
