Hey guys I haven't gone anywhere! I've had a big project I took on with work and the holidays with the family have kept me busy. I'm also letting my stream viewer averages reset now that I know what times work for me & what don't. Within the next couple weeks I'll be back with a schedule and content posted regularly again. Thanks for being patient with me and hope everyone's holidays were as great as they deserved! See you guys soon!

Oh and I'm now equipped to stream any retro console through Streamlabs and will be having a retro day weekly among other news! Stay tuned!!

I'm planning on doing an early morning stream tomorrow (12/16 @ 7am). What would you prefer to see? High on Life (PC), The Witcher 3 Next-Gen Update (PS5), or Final Fantasy 7 Crisis Core Reunion (PS5) are the three releases from this week I'm trying to decide from. 👨🏼‍🍳🔪

What games would you be interested in seeing me play? I plan on streaming Sonic Frontiers, God of War Ragnarok, MWII, Pokemon Scarlet/Violet, High on Life, The Callisto Protocol, Need For Speed Unbound, and Final Fantasy 7 Crisis Core before the year's end. All of these are paid in full besides High On Life (not able to yet). What else do you want to see?

Went through a little rebranding while I've had no internet to stream this weekend. What was formally known as ThaChefGaming is now ChefYakk. That'll be my user name on here and Twitch. Hoping to incorporate some of my chef work with my game streaming with the ultimate goal in mind of creating a brand. Pushing forward towards goals💪 😎

I had great results from my first day back streaming and even got a message that I should keep it up as I have a team of streamers interested in me. Sorry I haven't been able follow through this week to keep streaming again. I've had sharp pains in my stomach that started last week and progressed to a stabbing feeling, constant unease where I feel like I constant have to go sit on a toilet, and a couple other symptoms I'm sure you don't want to hear about. I'm going to try and be back Sunday full-time again but I've honestly not even been playing much games. I did get to watch Melissa play a bunch of Stray on PS5 (she even beat it!). Sorry about the week delay but at worst, I'll be seeing ya online sometime next week! Thanks for the understanding!!

If I were to try a stream out on my new pc tomorrow, would anyone be interested? Currently got 125 games to choose from. I've been on Tales of Arise, Doom 2016, Tunic, and Battlefield 2042. I'm off all day Sunday (7/17) and thinking about starting fairly early. Any suggestions of what you'd want to see played?

For the time being until we move my game streaming is on hold. Third night in a row I came home and nothing would work and I give up. I’m too busy with remodeling and the new career to deal with this currently. I’ll be back sometime in the summer.

I’m sorry…..I’m really pi**ed off the stream isn’t working again. I left the PS5 and Streamlabs opened all night while at work ready to just hit “Go Live”. Well I’ve been screwing with it for a hour and give up. I’m so sorry I may have to go back to old school style and just stream through the console with no cam or upgraded mic. I also won’t be able to stream directly to fb but only Twitch. If you don’t see me before Sunday live, I’ll be back in some form or another then. Again, I’m really sorry 😢

I’m sorry for the technical difficulties with the stream last night (4/13). Took a minute to get Sackboy working properly and then when I went back to stream some Gran Turismo 7 after it was lagging completely. I got it fixed today after scraping off more wallpaper. I work 3-10 today chefin’ it up at AP and then I’ll have a nice stream going tonight! I’m currently thinking Ghostwire Tokyo, Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, or checking on the updates for Gran Turismo 7. See you guys by 11pm eastern time tonight!! 🔪🔪

Sorry for not streaming Alan Wake last night like promised. While I was doing housework, the dogs decided it was play fight time and knocked down my makeshift wall and almost the entire chandelier. The house is already in shambles as we remodel to sell but I was up until 3am redoing it all and ready to stream early today! I feel a lot better than I have the past week so let’s get into something! Probably will start up Alan Wake Remastered or some Streets of Rage 4 shortly!!

I’m just floating my opinion but advertising phrases have changed and this is how I see gaming going for the near future. Series X used to be “the most powerful console in gaming ever” now it’s marketed as “the most powerful Xbox ever”.

Microsoft - the best value in gaming! If you’re a casual gamer who spends 10 hours or less a week on a console, this will be your best option.

Sony - the best quality in gaming! If you’re a dedicated gamer who spends lots of time gaming and can blast through massive single-player games this will be your best option.

Speculations Only :

I think PSVR2 is going to have a bigger impact in gaming then the original did. Half-Life Alyx will be a launch title and combined with the better tech and higher resolution, the audience will be significantly bigger as well. Sonys speculated 10 new live service games will also spread Sony’s audience with the help of Bungie making sure we get PlayStation quality titles and not another Babylons Fall or whatever that released recently (eek😵‍💫). Including Last of Us 2 Factions & a new Twisted Metal

Microsoft will continue to stumble and find themselves. I don’t know about the activision purchase, I could see them blocking it legally. We haven’t had many absolute bangers since Xbox 360 from the house of green. Forza Motorsports will be absolutely stellar as always. Gears could suffer like Halo Infinite did and be less than we deserve. Starfield needs to be an absolute banger or Microsoft’s faithful may finally turn on them. Their blind loyalty at this point is honestly extremely admirable. I don’t see us getting much more than the games they’ve already announced years in advanced without the Activision purchase. I just don’t trust them in the past 10 years.

NINTENDO….what can I say? They keep being Nintendo and doing their own thing and either you’re with them or you’re not. I think we get a switch pro/2 in 2023 as this year we will see their numbers will finally plateau a little. Honestly what house doesn’t have multiple switches at this point??

OH YEAH…speaking of a switch pro/2 I suspect breathe of the wild 2 was delayed to be a launch title for it and they’ll dual launch it like the first one on wiiU and switch. Maybe be more in line like a PS4/PS4 pro or Xbox series s|x kinda upgrade than an entirely new system. Maybe Metroid prime 4 finally releases but as a launch title as well.

How would you rather game? I’m just getting my first experience with a desk setup for my streaming and honestly I love it!! Sitting up straight for the camera on the couch started to hurt my back after a couple hours, the tall backed chair should fix all that! Now to just get me a green screen to block out behind me while we remodel and move over the next couple months!!

Who’s excited for some more Borderlands?! I’m slightly overwhelmed with all the games on my plate currently but as soon as I finish a couple more games this will be the first one I pick up! Eventually id like to be able to provide my own day 1 reviews but life doesn’t allow for that at the moment. Check this review out instead and let me know your impressions and if you plan on picking this up too!!
