Not a day goes by that I don’t think about the heroic actions of the crew members on September 11, 2001. The forgotten heroes. Yesterday + every day, we remember not only the loved ones + first responders on the ground, but those in the sky, too. Wearing this pin with pride all month. Never forget. 🇺🇸✈️

A day late bc I was working yesterday butttt it’s September which means IT’S TIME TO GO BACK TO HOGWARTS 😍✨⚡️

This is my best friend, my maid of honor, my soul sister, Ashley. She’s sarcastic as hell, laughs at inappropriate times, + is always down for shenanigans. A wonderful friend who will drop everything if you need her. Today was the beginning of her fifth + (hopefully) final week of radiation therapy.
In June she was diagnosed with throat cancer. She currently lives in Fort Myers with her boyfriend, Drew, but for the past four weeks, has been receiving radiation treatment twice a day in Tampa at Moffitt Cancer Center. The lodge at the center for patients is closed due to the pandemic, so Ashley + Drew have had to rent a second apartment in Tampa.
She’s been having to pay for two apartments this whole time + will have to start paying her high medical bills soon. A GoFundMe was set up by a friend for her benefit: https://gofund.me/5a206ae1. I also have the link in my bio. If you are able to donate, every little bit truly does help! Words can’t describe how grateful all of us would be ❤️
