TURMERIC BUTTER FOR SKIN AND HAIR

Things You Need-
3 tablespoons soft shea butter
½ teaspoon wild turmeric powder
10 drops turmeric oil

Directions-
To make this butter, you need soft shea butter. If shea butter is hard at room temperature, you might need to add in an oil base like jojoba oil or sweet almond oil. Add in turmeric powder and turmeric essential oil and whip it until you get a fluffy creamy mixture. Transfer this to an easy-to-use jar and use it as and when required

WAYS TO USE TURMERIC BUTTER FOR SKIN AND HAIR

Pigmentation
You can use this directly on the pigmented areas as a 30 minute mask. Wipe it off after 30 minutes. If you have seen very dry skin, you can also use a very light layer as a moisturizer

Acne
If you have a painful acne breakout, you can totally use this turmeric butter as a spot treatment before sleeping. For added benefits, you can also add a few drops of tea tree essential oil if you’re planning to use this for acne only.

Split ends
Split ends are usually because of dry hair ends. If you have split ends and want to stop it from progressing or if your hair ends are really dry and you are scared that you might develop split ends, use a very small quantity on your hair ends after I have wash while your hair is still damp.

Damaged hair
If you have damaged hair, you can use this butter as a pre-shampoo deep conditioning hair mask. If you have blonde hair, you might want to check whether it stains your hair or not.

Feet tan
I get so many questions on what to do for feet tan, you can use this butter as an overnight treatment. All you need to do is slather a good quantity of it on your feet and massage it in. Where a sock and sleep. Wash it off the next morning.

Dry cuticles
When our cuticles get dry, they often look pigmented. All you can do is massage your cuticles and your fingers including knuckles with this butter every morning and night.

Lip balm
Turmeric butter works great as a sleeping lip balm or sleeping lip mask if you have dry and chapped lips or also if you have pigmented lips. Simply slap a good amount of this butter on your lips and sleep with it. Wipe it off the next morning.

Night cream
If you have severely dry skin and also suffer from dark spots, pigmentation and an even skin tone, use this butter as a night cream. Massage it really well into your skin and sleep with it, wash it off the next morning.

How to make body butter for skin glowing

Ingredients
1 cup shea butter
1/2 cup coconut oil
1/2 cup olive oil
5 - 10 drops essential oil

Instructions
In a double boiler, melt Shea butter and coconut oil.

Once melted, allow mixture to cool 30 minutes.

Add olive oil and any essential oils, mix, then put mixture into the freezer until it is just starting to solidify, about 20-30 minutes.
In a stand-mixer or with a hand-mixer, whip until Shea butter gets a butter-like texture.
Transfer to a clean glass jar, and apply as you would lotion. A little goes a long way!

About the Ingredients:

Shea Butter: May help heal burns, sores, scars, dermatitis, psoriasis, and may help diminish wrinkles by moisturizing the skin.

Coconut Oil: May strengthen underlying tissue, while removing excessive dead skin cells. It is an antibacterial, antiviral and anti-fungal, and contains antioxidants that may help skin cell regeneration.

Olive Oil: Has gentle moisturizing benefits, may help skin irritations such as eczema and psoriasis, and leaves skin feeling and looking youthful.

Essential Oils: Essential oils may have tremendous skin benefits, from anti-inflammatory, antiviral, antibacterial, and antiseptic properties.

No toxic ingredients: Everything in this wonderful skin moisturizer is organic, and naturally derived from plants. There are no chemicals, or other strange ingredients in this shea body butter. That is something to feel good about!!

Additional details: Does not need to be refrigerated. Keep in a cool place. Should keep at least 3 months (but you’ll love it so much, it won’t last that long 🙂

DIY Turmeric Face Mask

All I need are these four (4) key things.

Turmeric powder
Honey
Lemon &
Tea tree Oil (optional)

I use

3 Teaspoons of Turmeric Powder
1 Teaspoon of Honey
1/2 Lemon &
10-20 drops of Tea tree Oil (optional)

I mix everything together in container and I apply on my face.
I leave it on for about 20-30 minutes, then I rinse it off.
It leaves my skin with this wide awake feeling.
It also leaves some yellow tint behind, which needs a good cleanser/toner to get rid of.

I use it about 1-3 times a week depending on my skin condition.
I started seeing changes in my skin in about a week.

My dark spots have faded, my skin looks clearer & brighter, radiant and more youthful & lovely.

HOW TO MAKE CLOVE WATER FOR HAIR GROWTH ( for 7 days use)
You need only 2 ingredient
1. Clove
2.water
PROCEDURE
Step 1
In a clean jar bottle 1 liter or more, add 4 tablespoons of clove
Step 2.
Add 5 cups of water to it
Step 3.
Cover and let it sit for 24 hours. .( Or more days)
Step 4
after 24 hours filter the water out and pour in your spray bottle.
HOW TO USE:
Use your spray bottle and
Spray the Clove water all over your hair , massage and leave it on do not wash it out... repeat the same process for 7days before washing your hair with shampoo and conditioner.
Store the remaining clove water in the fridge. Until you are ready to use it again
BENEFITS OF CLOVE WATER:
Clove water helps in increasing the blood circulation to the scalp, and thus promotes hair growth. Cloves have antibacterial and antifungal properties, which help in keeping the scalp healthy and free from infection.
It also help in reducing hair fall .

Lemon, Turmeric & Baking Soda Home-made Facial Mask

Even without your regular spa facials, facial masking once or twice every week makes a huge difference. Here is a mask made of lemon, turmeric & baking soda, readily available ingredients that are possibly sitting in your kitchen drawer.

The baking soda gently exfoliates and softens the skin.

The turmeric will smooth out wrinkles and reduce hyperpigmentation, scars, blemishes, and acne.

The lemon juice helps to brighten your overall complexion and helps fade dark spots.

Ingredients
1/2 lemon
1 tablespoon of baking soda
1 tablespoon of turmeric

Steps
Mix the lemon juice, baking soda, and turmeric together in a small dish. You should end up with a paste-like consistency. If it’s too runny, add a bit more turmeric.
Wash off all makeup, dirt, and debris with your regular face wash and pat your skin dry.
Apply the mask mixture to your face using circular motions.

Leave on your skin for 5-15 minutes. You should feel some tingling and tightening of the mask. If your skin starts to burn, remove the mask immediately.
Remove the mask with a lukewarm washcloth, using circular motions until the skin is completely clean.

Close your pores! Use the coldest water you can stand on your washcloth, and pat it across your face. Pat dry.
Moisturize with your favorite moisturizer!
Apply sunscreen!

Note: Do a test on a patch of your arm, before applying this to your whole face.

NORMAL SKIN
Normal Skin has an adequate balance of Moisture and Oil. It is not easily irritated.
√ It has little or no imperfections.
√ It doesn't retain scars.
√ The pores are not visible.
√ The complexion is radiant.
CARE
√ Because this type of Skin is not problematic, it tolerates almost every type of Soap/Cream.
√ Eat balanced diet to nourish it.
√ Avoid overexposure to the Sun.
√ Take 6-8 glasses per day.
Normal Skin can also be called 'Perfect Skin'

DRY SKIN
This type of Skin has low moisture and oil content. The Skin tends to be inelastic and dull.
The Skin isn't soft but flaky.
√ Pores are almost invisible.
√ The complexion is rough and dull.
√ There are visible lines on the Skin.
√ The Skin's elasticity is low.
√ When exposed to drying factors, the Skin may get cracked, peel or itch the owner.
You usually notice dry skin on the back of the arms, hands and legs.
CAUSES OF DRY SKIN
1). Genetics
2). Age
3). Hormonal Changes
4). Climatic Factors (Wind, Cold, Sun)
5). Using very hot water to bath
6). Some ingredients used in making cosmetics, eg: Alcohol and Salicylic acid
7). Indoor heating (from gas, stove, etc)
8). Medication
9). Use of hard water to bath
CARE OF DRY SKIN
1). Adequate intake of clean water. At least 6-8 glasses. Then gradually increase to 10-12.
2). Eat fruits rich in water eg: water melon, cucumber.
3). Don't use very hot water in bathing.
4). Go for moisturizing cosmetics. Those containing Aloe vera, Vegetable glycerin butter, Olive oil and rosehip oil.
5). Apply a good moisturizer immediately after bathing and apply anytime the Skin feels dry throughout the day.
6). Wear gloves when using detergents like Omo. If You don't have, immediately after using detergents, rinse hands with plenty of water and apply moisturizer.
7). Treat hard water before using. You can also make use of bath oils.

How to make carrots juice!

Peel and chop the carrots into 1-2″ pieces, then add around 1/4-1/2 cup of water to the blender too (to help the carrots blend without diluting the juice TOO much). Blend it until pureed into a thick smoothie consistency. Then sieve the juice. You can do this through a sieve, using a spoon to help press the juice out.

One 8-ounce glass of carrot juice has about 800% of your daily recommended intake of vitamin A and about 16 mg of beta-carotene, more than enough to meet your daily requirement. Carrots also contain numerous vitamins and minerals that help improve your health: Vitamin A. Beta-carotene.

The minerals and antioxidants in the carrot juice help nourish the skin and lighten the tone, smoothen the tone and also prevent the oxidation of the skin cells too. Moreover, with the addition of honey, the skin is left hydrated and moisturized, since honey is a natural at that.
