Sisters are sad to see our seniors go, but we are so proud of all they have accomplished and are excited for their futures🤩

First up for 𝕤𝕖𝕟𝕚𝕠𝕣 𝕤𝕡𝕠𝕥𝕝𝕚𝕘𝕙𝕥𝕤 is sister Marissa.

Marissa is a Nutrition major from Baltimore, MD! For the past year she has been interning with Penn Medicine and various community organizations as part of her Dietetic Internship. After graduation, she hopes to become a clinical dietitian! Her favorite DPhiE memories include getting her big, her little, and her glittle, as well as being part of Deepher Dude, which sparked her interest in working with Cystic Fibrosis patients!

Happy Move-In Day and Orientation Week to the new La Salle students ~ We cannot wait to meet you! This week we are highlighting sisters who decided to complete internships this past summer season.☀️
For our first ⇢ 𝓈𝒾𝓈𝓉𝑒𝓇 𝓈𝓅𝑜𝓉𝓁𝒾𝑔𝒽𝓉 ⇠ we have Marissa Thobe! Marissa is a Nutrition Major from Baltimore, Maryland, who spent the first half of her summer studying abroad at a fellow Lasallian university in France. Part of that experience included spending two weeks working on an organic vegetable farm. In Marissa’s short time there, she participated in all aspects of maintaining a small agricultural business, grasping the importance of supporting local farmers and attaining agricultural competence. She says, “this experience has enlightened my new interest in food systems and agriculture, and I hope to be able to use my experience in France for new opportunities and benevolence in Philadelphia and surrounding communities. After my program ended I took full advantage of the opportunity to travel Europe and learn about the diverse cultures of this world, as well as network with other Lasallian students and future leaders on an international level”. Marissa has also attended the Lasallian Leadership and Global Understanding Summer Program where she networked with students from 9 different countries. We are so proud of you Marissa!💜🤩🦄
