Gov. Buni Charge Newly sworn-in High Court Judge, Kadi to execute their duties with fear of God

Yobe state Governor, Hon. Mai Mala Buni CON, has charged newly sworn in High court Judge,
Justice Adamu Mohammed Jajere and Kasim Mohammed Kasim, Khadi, Sharia Court of Appeal, to have the fear of God in executing their duties in their new offices.

He stated this today at the swearing in ceremony of the two Judicial officers in Damaturu.

"I am pleased to state that your appointments were based on merit. I, therefore, have no doubt that you will use your wealth of experience to execute the duties of your office with a high sense of responsibility and competence.

"May I remind you that this is a huge trust vested in you by your creator, to whom you will account for your actions. Therefore, you should be fair, just and most importantly have the fear of Allah (SWT) in executing your duties" he said.

Gov. further urged the officers to be fair and just "As the saying goes, "the Judiciary is the last hope of the common man”. It is expected that your appointments as a Judge of the High Court and Khadi of the Sharia Court of Appeal, will contribute to the quick dispensation of justice to avoid the scenario of "Justice delayed, is Justice denied".

He explained that "ln Yobe state, we enjoy a very excellent working relationship between the Executive and Judicial arms of government, l enjoin you to work in harmony with your colleagues and staff and contribute to the peaceful relationship between the two arms of government for the benefit of the good people of Yobe state.

"Let me also reassure you of the state government's commitment to supporting the Judiciary to discharge its duties effectively and efficiently to promote quick dispensation of justice. This government under my watch will be alive to its responsibilities for justice to be promoted" he stressed.

Yobe Distributes 4,800 Beds, 4,200 Mattresses 17,500 Assorted Textbooks to schools

Yobe State Government has flagged-off the distribution of 4,800 double decker beds, 4,200 mattresses and 17,500 assorted textbooks to basic schools across the state.

The Honourable Commissioner of Basic and Secondary Education, Dr Muhammad Sani Idriss, during the flagged-off of the distribution in Government Girls College (GGC), Damaturu said, its part of continuous efforts by the Buni administration in providing conducive learning environments and ensuring quality education for the students in Yobe public schools.

The Honourable Commissioner said Gov. Buni is keen on addressing the challenges of inadequate furniture and infrastructure which has had a negative impact on the education of students in schools, making it difficult for them to concentrate and stay focused during class sessions.

"The provision of beds and mattresses will help to address this issue as it will provide students with a comfortable and conducive environment for learning, which in turn will improve their academic output and overall performance.

"The textbooks is equally important as it will help to improve students’ access to quality education. This intervention will enable students in the Yobe Secondary schools to have access to a wide range of textbooks, which will be beneficial in enhancing their knowledge across different subjects and topics.

Buni’s record of prompt payment of salary commendable

Yobe State Government’s record of prompt payment of salaries and allowances of political appointees under the Governor Mai Mala Buni-led administration is unmatched in the country.

This is in spite of the fact that Yobe is one of the least revenue earning state from federal allocation.

It is on record that political appointees and civil servants in Yobe State collect their salaries between 24th and 28th of every month. And this is done simultaneously with payment of allowances.

Gov. Buni has over 2,000 appointees, employed more civil servants and they are all paid promptly every month without fail.

However, a handful of persons whose appointments were announced last month have pay rolling issues, a purely administrative matter and it's already been resolved.

It's on record that the Yobe State government under Gov. Buni led administration has in the last two month employed over 2,500 youth in to the various state government agencies and they'll be soon sent to the ministry of finance for their biometric.

Gwamna Buni zai samar da jagoranci nagari da hadin kai tsakanin gwamnonin kungiyar "Progressive Governors Forum."

Gwamna Buni ya kware a fagen jagoranci da samar da ingantattun hanyoyin warware al'amuran siyasa, shi ya sa ake masa lakabi da "Limamin Sulhu."

A ra'ayina, Gwamna Buni, zai samar da kyakkyawar hadin kai a tsakanin gwamnonin jam'iyyar APC da hadin kai a karkashin kungiyar 'Progressive Governors Forum'. Wanda a yanzu Abubakar Bagudu ke shugabanta a matsayin chairman.

Hujja da dalili na kuwa shine, Gwamna Buni ya kasance yana shugabancin jam’iyya tun daga matakin jiha har ya zama sakataren kasa a shekarar 2015.

Kwarewarsa da kwazonsa ya sa ya dawo ya yi wa jiharsa hidima a matsayin gwamnan jihar Yobe.

Kwarewar da ya samu a harkokin jam’iyya ya sanya Gwamnoni da masu ruwa da tsaki a jam’iyyar s**a nemi Buni da ya karbi ragamar tafiyar da jam’iyyar bayan tabarbarewar al'amura domin samar da hadin kai da dinke baraka, a matsayinsa na Shugaban Jam’iyyar na kasa sakamakon kwazonsa da kwarewarsa wajen dinke duk wani gibi babba ko kadan.

Bayan da aka ba shi mukamin shugaban riko duk da kasancewarsa Gwamna a wancan lokacin, Gwamna Buni ya yi kokari sosai wajen dinke barakar da ke cikin jam’iyyar tare da samar da hadin kai a cikin jam’iyyar APC wanda hakan ne ya sa ya fara farautar gwamnoni da ‘yan majalisa daga sassa daban-daban na jam'iyyun adawa.

Jajircewarsa ne na ya hada kan ‘ya’yan jam’iyyar da ya sanya aka yi masa lakabi da “Limamin Sulhun Najeriya”. Kuma kwazonsa shi ne yunkurin samar da ci gaba da shugabancin Najeriya karkashin jam’iyyar domin samun nasara a 2023 da samar wa jam’iyyar dubban mabiya da magoya baya domin samun nasara da kuri’u masu yawa.

Kasancewar Gwamna Buni ya yi matukar kokari wajen ganin an kammala ayyukan jam’iyyar tare da samar da kyakkyawan sakamako a tafiyar da jam’iyyar kuma ya zama sanadin nasarar jam'iyyar a shugancin kasar yasa nake ganin a cikin gwamnonin Nijeriya shi kadai ne zai samar da hadin kai da zaman lafiya.
