Every single person at our RCD feels a need to be of service right now. In this moment, each of us is prepared to pivot from anything we have been working on and do what we can to help our community and our watersheds recover from fire.
How can we help right now?
-We support and coordinate the FireSafe Council.
-We have trucks. We can haul things. We can help people move.
-Some of us have in-law units at our homes. We can house people. We have friends who can house people.
-We can make phone calls, forward information, provide administrative support to your efforts.
-We can make maps.
-We can help raise funds.
-We know the communities that have been affected, we know the lands, we know many of the residents.
-We can bring lessons learned from the RCDs in Sonoma, Napa, and other counties who have been through this.
-We can manage contracts and contractors.
-We know dirt and water and critters and regulations and how to get things done.
-We manage public works projects.

-We can help with erosion, small or catastrophic.
