Episode 037: Happy Father’s Day!
Today we meet the men of our BAD Moms - Brandon and Chris, with Marcus joining us in spirit. Amanda is our MC as we discuss fatherhood and Father’s Day traditions, before things go a little off the rails (did someone say nuts?!).
We are so thankful to these men in our lives - we talk a lot about motherhood around here, but our husbands are amazing men and fathers and we loved being able to celebrate them today!
Welcome to B.A.D. Moms in Business. We are Bridgette, Amanda, and Danielle. We are a group of working moms wanting to help create a community for others like us.

Episode 036: Bridgette’s Birth Story
Bridgette’s story is unique to our trio because she is the only one that has birthed multiple children (2, to be exact). We discuss the difference between her experiences, with one vaginal birth and one cesarian. We also discuss the difference in care she received.
This is the episode that sparked our conversation with Michelle Spencer in Episode 33! Be sure to check that one out if you haven’t yet!

Will you be shocked by some of our answers, or will you agree with us?
But first, we talk about double chins...because, of course we do!

Episode 034: Time Sucks. Time-Sucks.
As working moms one of the most difficult things to manage is our time. We have so many responsibilities and jobs we need to get done, and that doesn’t even include the mental load we carry around with us as well. There is never enough time and there are endless distractions.
Today we bring back Lindsey Wolf - our very first 2nd time guest! - to discuss why and how we lose so much time in the day, tips to manage it better, and how to let go of the guilt associated with never getting it all done (because who can?!).
Welcome to B.A.D. Moms in Business. We are Bridgette, Amanda, and Danielle. We are a group of working moms wanting to help create a community for others like us.

Episode 033: Patience, Patients, Patience
Chances are, we have all been there - we’ve had an appointment with a doctor or specialist and we leave feeling like our needs were not met and our concerns weren’t listened to. What do you do from there? Is there any recourse or help available to you?
Today we talked to Michelle Spencer, a Patient Advocate at an East Coast Trauma Center. She details what her job functions are and how anyone in her field is patient focused and centered, yearning to make your experience as a patient a better one. To learn more about Michelle, read on!
Michelle has worked in healthcare for over thirty years. She began her career as a claims examiner, moved into the private practice sector as a patient liaison then as a practice administrator. For the last twelve years, Michelle has been a patient advocate at a level one trauma center on the East Coast where she works within patient-focused healthcare and serve as the voice of patients in need. Michelle heads the No One Dies Alone Program; which provides the reassuring presence of a volunteer companion to dying patients who would otherwise be alone.
Michelle is involved with resident education on areas of having difficult conversations and improved communication. She co-teaches at the medical college, and presents at rounds on topics where medical residents can learn how to empower patients and improve the physician /patient relationship through better communication practices.
Michelle recently started a podcast "Healthcare Communication Solutions" where clinical professionals provide resources, strategies, and wisdom on best practices in patient communication for medical interns, residents or anyone in the clinical field. On the podcast, once a month Michelle hosts a Resident Roundtable where 3-4 medical residents will discuss topics, ask questions about all things related to patient communication or enjoy a surprise guest. This podcast is great for anyone in the medical field that interacts with patients clinically or admin

Episode 032: What I Wish I Knew Before…
There are parts of our lives that we cross over into with excitement, anticipation, and if we’re being honest, naivety. Hindsight being what it is, there are always things we wish we knew before we crossed that threshold.
On today’s episode we discuss the things we wish we knew before….marriage. Being married comes with highs, lows, and everything in between - would having had this knowledge beforehand made the bad times easier and the good times even better? Maybe not - but we know we aren’t alone in the lessons we’ve learned.

Mother’s Day is this weekend, and so we found it to be a pretty great excuse to talk about our moms and how much we love them! We also share some of our own favorite traditions when it comes to this special day.
Then, in typical B.A.D. fashion, we get really off on a tangent about….lawn art? Listen in to find out how, why, and who is the tackiest of us all when it comes to our outdoor decor.
