Both Williamson and Travis Counties are electing members to the county appraisal district boards for the first time – and the far-right crazies are trying to use this election to damage our public schools and give out special favors to their allies. In such a off-off-off cycle election, your vote is even more critical than ever!

Travis County
Voting is open 7am to 7pm on Saturday. You can vote at any location in the county. The easiest is Austin Energy building on Mueller Blvd.

Here is the video of the PIAC meeting last night. Its got the slides and all the questions that people asked about the final years of the Master Development Agreement. And yes, the staff recommendation is to extend the agreement 2 years. Many people suggested that two years weren't enough.

The big news from last nights commission meeting is that the Master Development Agreement is going to be extended for at least 2 years until the end of 2026 but that the transition to the POA control of Mueller will proceed as planned for the end of this year. I'll be posting the video of the meeting later today....wait for it.

He has had many adventures and some serious struggles but mostly maintains a good outlook. We all have a unique journey and Kelly's has covered a lot of ground.
