It’s Give to the Max Day in Minnesota! Earlier this week, Valerie Castile gave to the max by donating $10,000 to Central High School’s Parent Advisory Council in honor of her son Philando, who was a Central graduate. “He loved children and he would be so happy to know that these kids are up here doing such amazing things,” she said. Thank you, Valerie, and to all in our community who give back to our schools!

GOD IS IN THE HEAVENS. The large metal sculptures at the Philando Castile Peace Garden are all West African Adinkra symbols. Each symbol represents its own guiding principle, and most commonly signify a tribute to Philando. Each symbol, carefully selected and constructed holds a powerful message of healing and unity, the mission of the garden.
