Episode One is officially live! Better late than never 'ey? We're available almost everywhere you can listen to your favorite podcasts! Link is also in our bio!
In our first official episode, we discuss a more current event that happened earlier this year in Louisiana. This discussion is in the first half of the episode and has a LOT of trigger warnings. Afterward, Pyro will start our adventure into the world of Conservation!
Coroner Dr. Ewell Bickham stated that 36-year-old Lacey Fletcher died from 'severe medical neglect, which led to chronic malnutrition, acute starvation, immobility, acute ulcer formation, osteomyelitis (which is bone infection) which led finally to sepsis'. Her parent's (Clay and Sheila Fletcher) first arraignment is likely to be within two months and a trial could commence as early as October.
Pictured is the only recent picture of Lacey, which is from around 20 years ago (©Handout). The third picture is her parents leaving East Feliciana Parish Prison on May 4, 2022, (©James Breeden for DailyMail[.]com).
In the midst of learning the history of Conservation, we discuss the 19th Unnamed Cave, and take a peek at the drawings that were found there. The mud glyphs found ranged in size from .98m to 3.3m long. (Images courtesy of Jan F. Simek, Stephen Alvarez, and Alan Cressler in Antiquity.)
