“Tapping their Southern roots and affinity for classic design, we worked with the clients to create a quintessentially traditional backdrop for their family of five that honored the spirit of the venerable neighborhood, but with an energetic lift.“ - Emily C. Butler, interior designer

went to great measures to honor the architectural styles of the surrounding homes in this established Atlanta neighborhood. This new build is situated on a sloped lot but was designed for easy outdoor living without the need for a flight of stairs to access the back lawn and pool. The subterranean 3-car garage is built under the sprawling lawn that leads out to the pool - every detail thoughtfully designed and implemented. I think the front porch might be my favorite though.

My Chinoiserie panels were the starting point for my dining room design and are currently 20% off! Comment “PANELS” below, and I’ll send you the link. Comes in other colors too!

These panels were the inspiration for painting the ceiling pink and recovering the chairs in a rich green-blue fabric. The trim on the curtains was inspired by the deep burgundy on the perched bird’s feathers.

I had them framed at in an antique gold bamboo frame that pulls in the gold from the chandelier and mirror. I also love how it picks up on the antique gold edge on the dining room chairs. Those were a hunt but finally found this set of 8 at an antique shop in Nashville called . I wanted something to soften the mahogany wood table and buffet but also didn’t want something new. I absolutely love the way they turned out!

I worked with to pull everything together and cannot wait for it to be the backdrop to dinner parties and family gatherings this Christmas and for years to come!

It’s all in the details! Want to know the secret to a curated, classic Christmas look?

✨ invest in one thing a year
✨ sprinkle in Amazon, Target
✨ layer in old ornaments to add a personal touch
✨ use greenery from the yard
✨ purge what doesn’t make you happy even if that means using less holiday decorations
✨ fill bookshelves and table tops with wrapped empty boxes for an inexpensive way to add holiday cheer (see last image!)

Just remember! Christmas decor is just like decorating a home - it takes time but the end result is always best if it’s not rushed. Overtime, your collection will grow but sometimes less really is all you need!

For a link to my favorite investment and easy-to-shop holiday decorations, comment “CHRISTMAS” and I’ll send you a message with the link.

H O M E ✨ With the holidays quickly approaching, I’m excited to finally share my personal home — all decked out for the most magical time of the year. This month marks 2 years since we moved in!

A heartfelt thank you to and for helping to make my Christmas dreams a reality! Most of the Christmas decor is by and antiques, lighting and decor from are sprinkled throughout. I couldn’t have done it without them!

is based in Baton Rouge, Louisiana where they have a shop but make it super easy to buy online too! I’ll be sharing more of what I used in my own home soon.

is in Charlotte but works with interior designers across the nation. Think beautifully curated English and French antiques, home decor and more!

What a few days! Thank you High Point Market Authority and for selecting me for the Design Influencers Tour. I left inspired, energized and excited about the new and new-to-me brands and products I found!

I also learned so much from the other eight influencers on the tour and loved seeing design through their eyes! Down to earth, kind-hearted and extremely talented - they all inspired me so much and encourage you to check them out too!
