The Monkey and the Fish

A monkey saw a fish in the river and thought it was drowning. Wanting to help, the monkey pulled the fish out and placed it on a tree branch. The fish soon died. The monkey was confused—it only wanted to help.

Moral of the story:
What helps you might harm others. Don’t assume others need what you need. Understand before helping.

The purest form of love I've ever experienced is the love between me and my children.
It’s raw. It’s real. It’s powerful.

I never truly understood what unconditional love meant - until I became a mother.
It’s waking up in the middle of the night just to check if they’re breathing.
It’s giving up the last bite, the last hour of rest, the last dream... just so theirs can live.
It’s loving even when you’re exhausted, even when you're misunderstood, even when it hurts.

Being a parent is far from easy.
It tests your patience, your strength, your heart.
But if I had to go through it all over again - the sleepless nights, the worries, the mess, the chaos - I would. In a heartbeat.

Because the love I give…
