NCA’s Covirena program is designed to educate & enforce the rules of our nature reserve such as no dogs, no motos, no bonfires, etc. Here’s a teaser & brief overview of the episode with Nestor, Marco, Jordanny & Randall where they explain what’s happening & why. Initially people are often shocked & surprised about no more dogs or bonfires on the beach… However, it seems most people are more understanding once they understand these rules are not new, and in place for a greater good. The idea of getting fined for bringing your pet though is certainly tough to accept and the Covirenas understand this. So they are educating about the situation prior to enforcing the rules with monetary fines.

Tim Marsh announces Safari Surf School’s 25th anniversary celebration with a G Love & Friends Benefit Show happening November 16th, plus shares stories from 1990’s & their journey from a 1995 mini super & deli in Playa Garza behind Soda Garza, to Casa Toucan (which so many of remember & now where Al Chile & Sunset Shack are located), then ultimately to current location at Olas Verdes.
*November 15th is a private dinner option at Tierra Magnífica with G Love plus a live & silent auction, so Tim hopes community businesses and homeowners will contribute items to ultimately help Dreamcatcher’s Foundation & International Animal Rescue (formerly Refuge for Wildlife).
Further along in the episode, Tim shares how he & his wife Marsi’s beginning was actually a mini super & deli in Playa Garza (behind Soda Garza), before Safari ended up at Casa Toucan. Tim jokes about how the Johnson family had to purchase the Casa Toucan property because they were Safari’s many guests often were too loud with their karaoke and antics… Resulting in Tim & Rich having to scramble & work together to ultimately find Safari Surf School’s current location and their partner hotel location at Olas Verdes. But that’s a whole different episode.
