Happy New Year! Our first episode of 2025 features the return of composer Jared DePasquale to the show. J.D. chats with Jared about some of the audio dramas he's scored in recent years such as The Victory of Joan of Arc and Freedom: William Bradford and the American Pilgrims. They also talk about how the scores for slice-of-life stories and epic historical dramas differ from each other, some of his favorite soundtracks, how the composer/sound designer relationship works for him, and a lot more. J.D. also responds to feedback from Jeremy and shares a handful of audio drama updates.

Cole Brumley is the music composer for An Extraordinary Lunch.

This is the first time for us to have original music composed for one of our productions. Cole did a great job of bringing a special score to this special story. Along with being a music composer, he’s also the host of the All Things Adventures in Odyssey podcast. Cole has composed music for a couple of audio dramas, including:

- Sonic Comics: What’s Holding You Up? (Audio Drama Alliance)

Duane is the only member of the cast who has appeared in every FaithFilled Stories production. He has a wide range of voices and has been heard in several audio dramas, including:

- Dr. Daniel Priest in The Explorer’s Society (Jonathan Park)

Nathan Carlson is playing the role of Man in the Crowd in An Extraordinary Lunch.

Nathan has been a voice actor for over 40 years. He is the voice of many people’s childhood as he’s been in numerous audio dramas playing an even larger number of characters.

Some of his credits include:

- Gruffy Bear and Nozzles the Elephant in Jungle Jam (Fancy Monkey Studios, Inc)
- Richard Maxwell and Stephen Straussberg (Adventures in Odyssey)
- Nicodemus in The Lamb (Witnesses)

Daniel Roth is playing the role of Philip in An Extraordinary Lunch.

Daniel is a new entrant in the voice acting space. He made his audio drama debut this year playing a demon in The Serpent from the Beginning (HeartMatters). He is the co-creator of the Adventures in Odyssey Fan Club Facebook group and the host of the podcast Your Fellow Odyssians.

Christiana Thomas is playing the role of Lydia in An Extraordinary Lunch.

Christiana has only been voice acting for a couple years but she’s already been in several audio dramas. You can hear her as:

- Felicia in The Spider and the Fly (HeartMatters)
- Mira in Time Truck Chronicles (WindowSeat)

Her brother, Nathan Thomas, also joins the cast playing Lydia’s brother Jacob. This will be Nathan’s first major audio drama role.
