JUST IN: A Blue Lagoon Island pleasure craft is reportedly sinking near Paradise Island.

Video footage of the incident shows a number of private vessels and a Royal Bahamas Police Force (RBPF) vessel circling near the pleasure craft which appears to be taking on water.

The cause of the mishap is not known at this time; however, police, via a brief statement, have indicated that “a snorkeling vessel with Bahamians and visitors on board reportedly took on water somewhere behind Paradise Island. The survivors are being brought into Margaritiville, Paradise Island.”

This is a developing story.

The euro model is now predicting *4.49 inches of rain for the new Providence area.* *Over in Grand Bahama the euro model is predicting 3.54 inches of rain 🌧️ fall.* *The models are now increasing the rain 🌧️ over both the extreme northwestern and northwestern Bahamas.* *Which is bad news* . Flooding will be a major concern.

Both models are now predicting over 4 inches of rain 🌧️ fall here for the Nassau New Providence area.

Former Prime minister Dr. Hubert Minnis appeared on a ZNS show and was given the opportunity to explain to da Bahamian people why they made the tough decisions with respects to hurricane Dorian and da pandemic.

Da former PM said it was either about saving da people lives or saving things and in his book, people lives were more important. It was unfortunate Dat his government didn't explain why dey what dey did, better and he sincerely apologize for Dat.

SHOOTING INCIDENT INVOLVING A 6-YEAR-OLD BOY

Police on Grand Bahama are presently investigating a shooting incident that has left a 6-year-old boy with injuries. Police are actively investigating the matter. This is a developing story.

Police are investigating a fatal crash that has resulted in the death of a 36-year-old woman.

Preliminary reports indicate that shortly before 2 a.m. on Tuesday, the male driver and a female passenger, both occupants of a grey Toyota Rav4 were traveling east on Bernard Road when the driver reportedly lost control of the vehicle and collided into a utility pole on the eastern side of the street.

Emergency medical services responded and transported both persons to the hospital, however, the female succumbed to her injuries while receiving medical attention at the hospital. Investigations continue.
