Hello world! I’ve been MIA traveling and living abroad and by focusing on clients I’ve neglected my own channel over here. I came across this post and thought it was worth sharing. Lately, I’ve been doing a lot of copy, and someone said to me recently that marketing IS writing, you’re writing a mailer, a blog, a social media post, a landing page, an ads headline. You’re always writing. And what I came to realize is often when you’re doing a lot of the writing you forget to do more of the psychological thinking behind what your writing means. And I thought I’d use this opportunity to put out a reminder that people don’t buy things, they don’t buy services -they buy how are you make them feel about that service. They buy the need that you present. Let’s think about that as we dive into our marketing this week!
