JacQuil Leathers is an altruistic humanitarian whose work is focused on catering personal care for the special needs population. She recognized the love and understanding she had for those with special needs and wanted to do something big to make a difference and in 2015, 7CutzAboveNC, LLC was created.
But, 7CutzAboveNC’s mission as a mobile hair salon and barbershop specializing in services for those with special needs extends beyond the obvious. In addition to providing services to the special needs, they also aim to educate and teach other personal care professionals how to properly service individuals with special needs via courses entitled “What Comes Before the Cut?” that is scheduled to be released in December of 2022.
She hopes with the help of the community and philanthropists that she acquires a sprinter bus to serve at a greater capacity and to one day make 7CutzAboveNC and “What Comes Before the Cut?” a global change as denoted through Leather’s mantra, “Aim to Inspire”.
