“This time of year can be bittersweet, as our minds swirl with memories of Christmases past, and people we miss…this one’s for the more reflective, melancholy days of the season. This is Getting By (This Christmas) 🖤

During the height of the pandemic, I co-wrote this song with my mom. We were remembering my grandfather, who passed at Christmas time, as well as reflecting on that past year of isolation. I released a demo version then, recorded in my closet with me playing all the instruments, but I always felt led to give this song the studio treatment…so I saved up, and we finally made it happen.” - Rhyan Sinclair

SHE GREW UP A COMPETITIVE GYMNAST TRAINING THIRTY-SIX HOURS AND CHANGED PATHS TO COMPETITIVE CHEERLEADING IN HIGH SCHOOL, WHICH LED TO HER FOUR YEAR DIVISION ONE EXPERIENCE AS A FLORIDA STATE UNIVERSITY CHEERLEADER WHILE EARNING A DEGREE IN MARKETING.

SHE HAS BEEN WRITING AND PERFORMING SINCE SHE WAS SEVEN YEARS OLD, WHETHER IT WAS ACTING, SINGING, OR COMPETING IN SPORTS. PERFORMANCE IS BUILT INTO HER BLOOD.
