Carson Wentz has yet to speak on the firing of his head coach. That shows you how broken that relationship really is.

With that being said, if he stays and under proforms it will show that maybe he was the bigger problem. This will be a make or break year for the former MVP candidate. Thats if he stays of course

Just my opinion tho.

I need everybody to think about the NFL 2020-21 season for a quick second.

- Lamar Jackson rushes for 1K for the second consecutive season. Thats never been done before

- Derrick Henry wins his back-to-back rushing title while becoming only the 8th player to rush for 2K. He has my MVP vote

- The OBJ-Less , Baker Mayfield Lead Browns are in the playoffs

- 43 year old Tom Brady throws for 40 TDs amd is in the top 5 in passing with a new team.

- Alex Smith who just 2 years a go was told he would never play football again after a horrible leg injury, plays and starts for the Washington Football team and leads them to the playoffs.

And thats just the regular season.

This has been arguably one of the most memorable NFL season that I can remember.

Just my opinion tho.

Doug Pederson has been showing alot of frustration with the tough but real Philly media lately but hes still backing his QB1 up

Earlier this week, Hall of Fame QB, Super Bowl champ, and former MVP Brett Favre, whos very close with with Eagles HC Dougie P, came out and said that je would've kept Foles over Carson. This stared a lot of drama with the Phily media. Wednesday, Doug was asked about the comments from his close and said "I respect his opinion and his words. Those aren't mine," Pederson said to end Wednesday's news conference. "Please don't put words in my mouth or we're going to have a problem. Carson's our guy, bottom line. End of story." The sound of frustration in his voice was extremely noticeable. It makes me wonder, is he frustrated with continuing to have to answer these Questions about his QB1 and he actually feels like Carson is his gym or do he actually feel the same as his good friend Brett and is getting tired of hiding it. The Eagles have alot more problems than whos the guy throwing the ball and its starting to show with Doug. These next couple weeks for the birds are going to be major. If they dont go well, somebody will be gone. Either Dougie P or Carson it looks like.

Just my opinion tho

Who Runs The NFC?

We're a little more than halfway through the NFL 2020 season and I've gotta say, there's no clear cut number one team coming out the NFC.

We started off with the Seahawks coming out the gate hot with their MVP candidate at QB, but due to how awful the defense is playing, they look very vulnerable which is causing them to be in these close games. They are 1-2 in their last 3 and Russ has thrown 5 interception during that time after only throwing 3 in the first 5 games. Add those turnovers in we with that terrible pass defense and we see why they dropped 2 of the last 3.

Next up, the Packers with that very potent offense led Aaron Rodgers, Aaron Jones, and that Stud, Devante Adams and with some help from Jamaal Williams, Marquez Valdez-Scantling, and break out TE Robert Tonyan. The offense was unstoppable until they ran into a Bucs team that was playing lights out on defense. In that game we saw Aaron Rodgers get shook after his pick 6 and we saw that the Packers run D is still the same...awful. if they can't stop the run than Rodgers dont get on the field to put the points up.

The Bucs were a team coming into this season with alot of high hop but questionable when it came to Tom Brady. He was playing very well with all that talent around him but they were officially swept by the Saints this year and lost the lead in the division. The defense was playing lights out all year except against the Saints. In the 2 games against NOLA, TB12 has thrown for 5 Ints as 2 TDs. They are the cryptonite. If you can't even hold a lead in you division you can't be the best team in the conference.

The Saints were just squeaking by the skin of their teeth and winning games til the defense finally showed up shut down Tom Brady and the Bucs. Before that, nobody was sold on them.

Teams like the Rams, Cardnals, and Bears have shown flashes but not nearly complete or constant to be top dog.

The NFC is widely unconsistant. There's no glorified top dawg like in the AFC with the Steelers and the Chiefs. The NFC is still wide open

Just My Opinion Tho.

THE WAITING GAME

Every single year, it feels like there is a Quarterback drafted with high expectations. They come in with the big hype of being labeled a franchise quarterback or a bust. They come in and be starters right away and make a name for themselves good or bad. Year after year we put these rookies in and expect them to lead our teams to the promise land right away. Year after year we draft these Quarterbacks like Josh Rosen, Blaine Gabbert, and JaMarcus Russell who are drafted high and are replacement in a year or two by another draft pick. What about the guy that didnt come in and start right away and had to wait their turn? Guys who sat behind a veteran and learned how to be a pro. Nothing good comes out of rushing.
When I think of this concept of waiting you cant help but think of the Green Bay Packers amd what they did with Bret Favre and Aaron Rodgers. Favre is considered an all-time great and is a hall of famer. In 2005, he was dabbling with retirement after playong 13 seasons as a Packer. Breaking every record and bringing them a Super Bowl ring. They went on to draft his replacement in the 2005 draft with the 22nd pick by drafting Aaron Rogers. 3 years and 3 off-seasons of Favre watch, Aaron was awarded the starting role. The rest was history. He went on to become a 2x MVP, Super Bowl champ and MVP, 8x Pro Bowler, and breaking numerous passing records including 402 consecutive passes without a single interception. Thats almost a full season of attempted fiep1without a single INT. I would say that was worth the wait.
You also have guys like Phillip Rivers who waited behind Drew Brees. Rivers lead the Chargers to the AFC championship in his first yeae. During his time with the Chargers, he put huge numbers passing for 59,271 yards and 397 TDs. With those huge numbers he failed to bring a title to the Chargers organization. Posting a 128-107 record as the started and a 4-4 playoff record. Despite not winning it all he is an 8x Pro Bowler. I wouldn't say it was a bad idea.
Jordan Love is the next guy that will have to wait. As he was drafted in the First round of the 2020 NFL Draft to the Green Bay Packers where he will sit and learn behind Aaron Rodgers. The exact situation that Aaron was in with Brett, and you seen how that turned out.
Patients is virtue guys.

THE BIG BOYS ARE GOING BIG TIME

The Negotiations for the unification bout has started for Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua according to ESPN's Mark Kriegel. The Battle of the Brits could actually happen. Both men fresh off big wins. Anthony Joshua revenged his First lost by beating Andy Ruiz in a one sided UD back in December of last year. He captured all his belts back to sit on top of tbe division again. Tyson Fury is fresh off his dominate performance in his rematch again Deontay Wilder where he stopped him in the 7th round back in February. Now we possibly will get a chance to see a Heavyweight carryvall the major titles for the first time since 1987 when Mike Tyson beat Tony Tucker. This can honestly be huge for the division and the sport. It is said that boxing was at its best when the heavyweight is at the top of the Pound-4-Pound list. If this was the early 1900's, the heavyweight champ was the king of the world. This could be the most important fight in the history of the boxing. This fight could take the sport over the top and back in the spotlight. We could easily Have a new face of boxing since Floyd Mayweather Jr retired.

Where does this leave the rest of this division. I think they should all be patient. A guy like Wilder might be handed the biggest pay day of his career and a chance to cement his legacy along side the all-time heavyweight greats and all he has to do is be patient. As fo guys like Oleksandr Usyk, Andy Ruiz , Luis Ortiz, Dillan Whyte, who are in the next tier of the top Heavyweights, they need to step in the ring and fight each other to earn that spot as the next guy up. Then you have you the young guys like Danial Dubois and Joe Joyce who are young and up and coming and will be fight each other, they need to continue climbing the ranks the way the are and that shot will come.

This era of heavyweights maybe the best we've seen in along time. For years, the Klitschko' s Brothers ruled the division. They cleaned out every prospect, number 1 contender, and undefeated heavyweights that came around the division. Until one day, Tyson fury dethroned Wladimir Klitscho in what looked like an easy fight for Tyson. That was the start of this new era in the heavyweight division.

This Unification Bout needs to happen for not just them two but for every boxing fan in this world and for the sport of boxing.

Since we all had tome to think about what the teams we love did in the 2020 NFL Draft, I think its time to put those grades out. Some Happy, Some Sad. With that being said...lets get down to it!!!!

Cardinals. A, Key Players: LB Isaiah Simmons and DT Leki Fotu.
Analysis: after Acquiring DeAndre Hopkins, they leaned heavy on they defense with a playmakers at Linebacker. They filled the needs

Falcons: B+, Key Players: CB AJ Terrell and DT Marlon Davison
Analysis: They filled they holes on defense that they desperately needed also adding depth on the Oline with C Mike Hennessy.

Ravens: A, Key Players: LB Patrick Queen RB J.K. Dobbins, Malik Henderson, and OL Ben Bredeson.
Analysis: Bringing those to steller Linebackers will give them play makers they need to stop the run as that was exposed in the playoffs against Tennessee.

Bills: B+, Key Players: DE A.J. Epenesa and RB Zack Moss.
Analysis: RB Zack Moss will be a key contributor in this offense which is what they lacked last year. They traded for Stefon Diggs to paired him up with John Brown which brings them a great duo. Adding a work horse back like Moss only made this team more of the favorite to win the AFC east

Panthers: A-, Key Players: DT Derrick Brown, State DE Yetur Gross-Matos.
Analysis: They did great addressing that need on the DLine. A good run stopper could've saved them alot of games last year.

Bears: C, Key Players: TE Cole Kmet
Analysis: wasnt Impressed with the Bears at the draft. They landed a reliable Tight End and went heavy on the Defense but didnt address the hole left by Kyle Long since retiring.

Bengals: A, Key Players: QB Joe Burrow, WR Tee Higgins, and LB Akeem Davis-Gaither.
Analysis: The had one of the best drafts. They found a franchise Quarterback and gave him a weapon to throw to. They also found a playmaker at Linebacker. Impressive.

Browns: B+, Key Players: OT Jedrick Wills and Saftey Grant Delpit.
Analysis: Baker will have a reliable Tackle. Keeping the QB on his feet is what matters the most.

Cowboys: A+, Key Players: WR CeeDee Lamb and CB Trevon Diggs.
Analysis: Coming away with the most important need for your team is one this and he was ranked high is one thing but coming away with a big play reciever to put along side Amari Cooper and Gallup is another in a big way. Ceedee is explosive and cause problems in the slot. The NFC east just got interesting

Broncos: A+, Key Players: WR Jerry Jeudy and WR KJ Hamler.
Analysis: Drew Locke has gotta feel like a kid on Christmas. Not only does he have Courtland Sutton, Melvon Gordan, and Phillip Linsley, he just got to new toys to play with in KJ and Jeudy. This Broncos team is gonna be a problem.

Lions: B+, Key Players: CB Jeff Okudah and RB D'Andre Swift
Analysis: I like that they took the best Corner in the draft. Hes a dog!!! They also may have finally found a running back with Swift, who can can also be a threat in the passing passing game as well. Things can get real interesting in Detroit with Swift, Marvin Jones, Kenny Galloway, Kerryon Johnson, And Danny Amadolla.

Packers: C-, Key Players: QB Jordan Love, LB Kamal Martin, and OG Jon Runyan.
Analysis: Aaron Rodgers is getting the same treatment Brett Favre did when they drafted Him in 2005. Drafting for the future is good but Aaron could play another 5 years. They traded up for Jordan Love so could that mean they plan on moving on from Aaron Rodgers sooner than later? We shall see. The best pick up the brang in could be Kamal Martin, a glorified run stopper and Jon Runyan, a beast at either guard position that fills a much needed hole.

Texans: C+, Key Players: DT Ross Blacklock and LB Jonathan Greenard.
Analysis: They definitely addressed those Defensive needs with the first 2 picks. But what about a Reciever to replace DHop? I have no idea what that front office is doing.

Colts: A+, Key Players: WR Michael Pittman, RB Jonathan Taylor, and QB Jacon Eason.
Analysis: they're the winners of the draft in my opinion. They draft a Stud Receiver and monster of a Running back than drafted their future starting QB. This GM deserves an award.

Jaguars: B+, Key Players: CB CJ Henderson, LB K'Lavon Chaisson, and DT DaVon Hamilton
Analysis. I love how great they addressed the defense, especially the CJ Henderson pick. They are a player away of possibly winning the AFC south and that player is a big play reciever.

Chiefs: B+, Key Players: RB Clyde Edwards-Helaire and LB Willie Gay.
Analysis: They gave Pat Mahomes the best All Purpose Back in the draft thay fits the Chiefs system. That high powered Offense just got faster.

Raiders: B+, Key Players: WR Henry Riggs, CB Damon Arnette, RB Lynn Bowden, and WR Bryan Edwards.
Analysis: In the Typical Raider way they took the fastest player in the draft with their first pick. Ruggs is more than a blazer though, they brang in a dog to play corner, Bowden and Edwards are both guys who have big play abilities.

Chargers: A, Key Players: QB Justin Herbert, Oklahoma LB Kenneth Murray, and RB Joshua Kelley
Analysis: Tyrod Taylor will be the perfect teacher to Herbert, Murray is gonna be a leader as so as he steps in the locker room, and Kelley gives you a bruiser to compliment Eckler

Rams: A, Key Players: RB Cam Akers, LB Terrell Lewis, S Terrell Burgess, and WR Van Jefferson.
Analysis: They found alot of value for not having a first round pick. Akers fills that hole that Gurley left, Jefferson will make a good compliment to Cooper Cupp, and Burgess and Lewis bring versatility to a defense that already feature Jalen Ramsey and Aaron Donald.

Dolphins: B+, Key Players: QB Tua Tagovailoa, OT Austin Jackson, CB Noah Igbinoghene
Analysis: If Tua is healthy hes the starter and now your pairing him with Devante Parker and Mike Gesicki could bena problem for the AFC east. Than, youbwent out and got your nkew starting QB and Beast of a tackle in Jackson. They finished out the first round with Noah Igbinoghene, a very physical and athletic cornerback. Great draft class in my opinion.

Vikings: A, Key Players: WR Justin Jefferson, CB Jeff Gladney, and Baylor DT James Lynch.
Analysis: Justin Jefferson fills that void that Stefon Diggs left. Gladney is a ball hawk he will bring that Dog-like mentality to the position which they lacked these last couple years. James Lynch is a steal, hes going to be sound on that DLine.

Patriots: B-, Key Players: Lenoir-Rhyne S Kyle Dugger, LB Josh Uche, and LB Anfernee Jennings.
Analysis: They did not address the QB situation but they brang in a rack of Defenders that fly all over the field. Do not sleep on the Pats, they can win ugly with hiw good this defense will be.

Saints: B, Key Players: C Cesar Ruiz and LB Zack Baun.
Analysis: Having a good center in this league is like having a good point guard and Ruiz is that. Zach Baun is a sideline to sideline beast and a leader.

Giants: B+, Key Players: OT Andrew Thomas and S Xavier McKinney.
Analysis: If you need a guy thats going to keep Danny Dimes upright, Thomas is definitely the man for them. Arguably the best tackle to come out. Hes a day 1 starter. The New York footbal Giants dhould be excited for Xavier McKinney. He reminds me of Malcolm Jenkins with how versatile he is.

Jets: A, Key Players: OT Mekhi Becton,WR Denzel Mims.
Analysis: Le'Veon Bell should be extremely happy with this first round pick because he finally gets a monster to run behind. Sam Darnold should be very exited as well with Denzel Mims being drafted in the second. He fills that void that Robbie Anderson left. This team will be contending for the division title this year.

Eagles: B+, Key Players: WR Jalen Reagor, QB Jalen Hurts, S K'Von Wallace.
Analysis: I know Jalen Reagor wasn't the guy alot of Philly fans wanted bit this guys is no bum. Hes faster than his 40 time and runs and when he gets the ball in space he makes highlights out of guys. The pick im most excited about is K'Vin Wallace. He fills the need and shouldve neen taken higher. He can bring back that fear that Philly had with BDawk back in the day.

Steelers: A, Key Players: WR Chase Claypool, LB Alex Highsmith, and RB Anthony McFarland.
Analysis: Claypool is big, physical reciever that will give the steelers a guy who can go up and make a play. Highsmith will give you a power edge rush that will only help that good secondary out. McFarland will give y
ou a change of pace when James Conor and Jaylon Samuels dont get the jon done.

49ers: A-, Key Players: DT Javon Kinlaw and WR Brandon Aiyuk
Analysis: They post DeForrest Buckner and brang a replacement right in. Kinlaw is beast of a bull rusher. Fits right in. Aiyuk brings mote burst along with Deebo and Dee Ford.

Seahawks: B-, LB Jordyn Brooks, DE Darrell Taylor
Analysis: the addressed that defense with their top picks. Brooks is a inforcer at Linebacker. Taylor is a crafty Edge rusher. I think they should've grabbed a reciever to help Russ out though.

Buccaneers: B+, Key Players: OT Tristan Wirfs, S Antoine Winfield (No. 45), and RB Ke'Shawn Vaughn
Analysis: They brought in a guy to protect Tom's backside and its the best Tackle in the draft. Antonio Winfield will be a playmaker for that secondary, and Vaughn can become a solid back because of his size and physicality.

Titans: B-, Key Players: OT Isaiah Wilson, CB Kristian Fulton, and RB Darrynton Evans
Analysis: Theyre bringing in a big guy(6'6 310LBs) at tackle with Wilson with alot of potential to protect their Franchise QB. They also did a great job addressing the need at coner by bringing in a a very athletic CB(Fulton) who can become lock down. Evans will be a good complimentary to Derrick Henry.

Redskins: A, Key Player: edge rusher Chase Young, RB Antonio Gibson, and OT Saahdiq Charles
Analysis: Chase can be a generational player with his size and speed but his motor is unreal. I see why they chose him over Tua. Gibson gives you that dual threat like CMC.

They Were So Wrong

It's Draft Day for the NFL. As we wait and see who goes where and the boo's for Commissioner Goodell, and we watch how happy those kids get as their dreams come true as first round picks. What about the ones who aren't drafted in the early rounds or what about the the ones that dont get their names called? This got me thinking a few guys that went through that on their draft day. But this isn't a bad thing. We have plenty of all time greats who have proved how wrong draft experts are. It goes to show it doesnt matter where you drafted or if you even were. Lets talk about the guys that worked to be great. Guys who had to do it the hard way because these so called experts and scouts go it wrong.

1) Terrell Davis
TD was labeled as too slow for the league after running a 4.72 in the 40. He never ran over a thousand yards in college and was never really the "guy" at Georgia sitting behind Garrison Hearst. He got his shot in 1993 rushing for over 800 yards. The following season which was his senior, he aggravated a tear in his Hamstring. He was labeled as injury prone. The Broncos still took a chance on him with newly named head coach Mike Shanahan drafting him in the 6th round(196th) going into his rookie training camp he was the sixth string running back until a crushing hit he laid on a retuner on special teams in preseason. He impressed his team and started 14 games his rookie year. He ran for over 1,100 yards and its safe to say the rest was history. He went on to become a 3x All Pro, 3x Pro Bowler, a 2x Super Bowl champ, MVP, and ran for over 2,000 yards in 1998. He finally recieved his Hall of Fame knod in 2017. Not bad for a slow guy.

2) Shannon Sharpe
Shannon played wide receiver for the small college Savannah College. He wasnt fast enough to play the position according to experts. He switched his position to Tight End, which he was considered too small. Really? He was drafted in the 7th round(192nd) in 1990 he did have a slow start but come 1993 people found out who Shannon Sharpe was. Racking up a 81 receptions, 995 yards, and 9 TDs. Every year after that he showed why he was the best Tight End in the league. he ended his career with 815 receptions, over 10,000 yards and 62 TDs. He was threat on the field. He was also an 8x Pro Bowler, 4x All Pro, 3x Super Bowl champ, and named to the 1990s All Decade team and Hall of Famer. Shannon was also known for his very prestigious trash talk which he backed up everytime.

3) Kurt Warner
Kurt wasn't Drafted in 1994. Coming out of Northern Iowa, he was picker up bybthe Green Bay Packers as the practice squad for a year before leaving to go play for the Arena league's Iowa Barnstormers and NFL Europe's Amsterdam Admirals. He played very well in both leagues but didnt recieve a call from a team til one faith day when he was working a grocery store and stocking shelves. That call was from Dick Vermeil of the St Louis Rams. He finally got his shot in 1999. when than starter Trent Green tore his ACL. From there on out Kurt showed the world how good he was by winning the super bowl in 1999 and the Super Bowl MVP. He wasnt done there. He went on to be a 2x NFL MVP, 4x Pro Bowler and 2x All Pro. In 2002 he was still the starter but ended his season with a broken thumb and the following season he was replaced by Marc Bulger. In 2004 the Rams released him and he was picked up by the Giants where he lost his starting job to Eli Manning. Come 2005 he was signed by the Cardinals. He had a bumb time between 2005 and 2006 where he was replaced as a starter by Matt Leinard but bounced back to in 2007 winning the starting job back. By the 2008 season he led the Cardinals to a Super Bowl where he lost he a shoot out to the Steelers. He went on to play one more year where he made the Pro Bowl at the age of 38. After that he retired. Hell of a career for a guy who was making 5.50 an hour stocking shelves. He did it the hard way.

4) Tom Brady
We all know Tom's draft story. He was a back up his first two years at Michigan. He got his chance in 1998 where he broke in game records for completions and in 1999 shared time with Drew Henson. He ran a 5.24 40 time and showed off what experts called a "scrawny body" for a QB. He was still drafted in the 6th round(199th) by the Patriots. He didnt see any playing time his rookie year but in his second year that all changed. In week 2 becoming the started after hit on Drew Bledsoe put him out of the game. The rest was history from there on. 6 Super Bowl titles later he is regaurded as the G.O.A.T. the best part of this story is he's still playing and will be the starter Quarterback for the 2020 Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Hes the true definition is a guy who got a chance a and ran with it.

These "Experts" were wrong, all wrong.

UNAPPRECIATED

Like the late-great Rodney Dangerfield said "No Respect". We talk about G.O.A.Ts but we never talk about the help, the guys who always did the dirty work. After watching ESPN's The Last Dance and seeing how underappreciated Scottie Pippen was, it got me thinking of a few other Athletes I feel like we don't show enough love to. Guys who put the work in to help his team win.

1) Dennis Johnson PG/SG - DJ is regaurded as one of the best Defensive guards of his time. He was the 1979 NBA Finals MVP because of his versatility. He was also a 5x All-Star, 2x All-NBA, and 9x All-Defense. He was a guge part of the 1984 and 1986 Boston Celtics Championship teams with his Defense. With Larry Bird, Kevin McHale, Danny Ainge, and Robert Parrish on those team he wasnt forced to score as much. He just put the clamps down on those Rockets guards and gave Magic Johnson major problems in those 84' finals. George "the iceman" Gervin has been on note sayin that DJ was the hardest defender hes ever faced. This is the iceman, who is regaurded as won of the besy players to play the game. Put some respect on DJ's name!

2) Marvin Harrison WR - Marvin is the true definition of a guy who literally let his play talk...literally. he has one quote that stuck out to me, "I get paid to practice so the games are free." Well, with those "free" games he put up some of the best numbers ive ever seen from a wide receiver. Caught 1,102 balls for 14,580 yards and 128 yards. Hes 2nd all-time in receptions, 9th in yards, and 5th in TDs, but yet we rarely speak about him when we talk about All-Time great wide outs. His numbers speak. Not to mention he did help his team win a ring and that year he balled out(93 receptions, 1,366, and 12 TDs). Hes a Hall Of Famer for a reason. Lets start bringing up Marvin when we talk All-Time greats. He deserves it

3) Tim Duncan F - Known as the "Big Fundamental" because theres nothing flashy or loud about his game. He gets in and dominants and gets out. He reminds me of a Kahwhi Leonard because of how he makes you play at his speed. Hes probably the best 2 way big man the game has really ever seen. Hes a 5x champ and HOF. So why isn't he in the same conversation as MJ, Kobe, and Bron? He maybe not be as polarizing as those guys but, his stats amd hardware is loud enough. Hes a 2x league MVP, 15x All-Star, 3x finals MVP, 15x All-NBA, 7x All-Defensive and did I already he has 5 rings? Thats the same as Kobe and more than Bron. Hes a Hall of Famer(class of 2020) and was with the spurs his whole career. He needs to be talked about alot more and as much as everybody else.

4) Curtis Martin RB - Or Curtis "My Favoritw" Martin as the great Chris Berman says, is different than the others on this list. He never won a championship, which isnt entirely his fault. The one time he was there as a Patriot, he ran into a dominant Packers defense that featured a man named Reggie White and a 350 pound run stopper named Gilbert Brown. But as a Jet he never had a chance. In his 8 bgg years with the Jets he only saw the playoffs four times, he was on subpar teams. He still balled out, this HOFer is 6th All-Time in rushing yards(14,101) and has 90 TDs. Hes a 5x Pro Bowler and 2x All-Pro. Hes a product of not playing for great teams and never winning a ring. But his numbers speak for their selves. He has my respect, I hope he has yours too.

5) Scottie Pippen SF - The inspiration for all this. A guy a feel deserves alot more recognition than he does. He is one of the best Two way players that ever played. He helped win the Bulls 6 rings with his play. Hes a Hall of Famer and apart of the NBA 50th anniversary team. I don't think he got the full shine because of playing beside Jordan for 11 years wasn't easy. When MJ was off Scottie got hot. Scottie was guarding your best player nost of the time. He accomplished everything in the league but win an MVP. I might sound crazy when I say this but Mike needed Scottie. They went on a losing skid when Scottie was holding out. It showed how valuable Scottie was to the Bulls. I don't get why he's not talked about alot more. When Mike left to play Baseball, Scottie had his team in the conferance finals where he had them close to a finals birth. Lets face it, Mike amd Scottie needed each other to win to win a ring because never won with out scottie nor did he win without Mike. Lets Appreciate this GOAT for as long as we have him.

"A man who can do both"

With the news coming out that CMC is now the highest paid running back in the league, does that mean Dual threat Running backs are actually the new "wave"?

Christian McCaffrey is known for being a duel threat running back or as I like to say...A renaissance man. A guy who can do both. He can run the ball, catch it, and return kicks, and even block. Coming off a 1,000/1,000 season. Meaning, 1,000 yards rushing and 1,000 yards receiving. Which for a running back is amazing. Its so rare, that only only three backs on the leagues 100 year history has done it. CMC being one of them along dide HOFer Marshall Faulk and Niner great Roger Craig. The NFL is a pass first league unless you have a running back like Derrick Henry, Saquon Barkley, Zeke Elliott, and Leonard Fournette. The Titans are taking their time with signing Derrick Henry, last season the Cowboys let Zeke hold, the Jags have torn apart the whole team around Leonard Fournette, and the Giants are trying to get it together with Saquon but have been a dumpster fire fornhis first two years. Which leads me to a question...

ARE DUEL THREAT RUNNING BACK THE WAY TO GO?

If you look at the teams in the league the majority of them have guus who can. Austin Eckler who racked up second in all purpose yards in the NFL made it easy for the Broncos to trade away their work hoirse back Melvin Gordon. The Saints' Alvin Kamara as came close in first 3 years of a 1,000-1,000 season and thats playing along side a Micheal Thomas. James White, who broke the record for the most receptions in a Super Bowl and also who finished 3rd in the league in recieving yards as a Running with close to 800 yards! Tarik Cohen, Delvin Cook, Miles Saunders, Aaron Jones. The list goes on with Running back who have finished with atleast 500 yards receiving and 500 yards rushing. The Panthers went out amd got a guy like Teddy Bridgwater who can fights perfect for that offense thats ran through CMC(no knock on Cam though). I would say the League is changing! The word "Dual Threat" is where its at. Rather thats at QB like Lamar Jackson rushing for 1100 yards while passing for 3500 or an RB like Christian McCaffrey who had the first 1,000-1,000 seaon in 20 years, this league is evolving in to a league of speed. Its like fantasy football team owners have became pro team GMs and I absolutely love it! This league has never been more exciting than what it has been for decades. Every team is the "Greatest Show On Turf". The future is bright for the NFL and these " Guys who can do both" are leading the charge.

We Talk That Talk.
