The nation, and communities across the globe are increasingly growing more divided. The art of reconciling differences needs attention like maybe never before. This calls for an action agenda.
While reconciliation requires a meeting of hearts and minds, and truly happens one individual at a time, there are things we as a conscious collective can do to help or hinder this process. Equitable tax and social policies, infrastructure investment, a racial reconciliation commission, voting reforms, improving ethics and government capacity, confidence-building measures in business and civil society, improving media coverage and digital literacy, improving political tone and improving access to true property rights have all been brought forward as critical to our reconciliation efforts.
What are your thoughts? How can we each as individuals and as a collective be more courageous and broader in our mindsets? What actions can we take to begin our communities' reconciliation and bring a social healing?
Embracing pride for your business while maintaining respect for others and yourself will ultimately mold a sound backbone for what life throws amongst the discrimination and bias that are still prevalent.
