In the early morning of Tuesday, March 15, we were filling our liquidity pool on Pancakeswap and sending airdrops and were victim to a malicious sniper bot attack. Coyote was not the only victim of this attack as we determined other altcoins were also compromised. The attack happened within minutes of launch and drained our initial liquidity pool.
Here’s what you need to know:
• The Ledger wallet where presale funds were aggregated is fully secured and offline (cold storage). It contains over 1,600 BNB and can be verified on BSC Scan.
• We are continuing to evaluate this event and the circumstances surrounding it. Further protocols have been enacted to prevent any further risks.
• We will be discussing this event in further detail on a live chat via Telegram at 8:30pm EST.
• The Coyote team is committed to the same transparency you have come to expect and continues its commitment to security and integrity of the Den community.

The Coyote Pack has been hard at work prepping for presale this Saturday. During our setup process with DX.app, we uncovered additional fees through their platform that would end up reducing the predetermined amount of Coyote Coin planned for the community. In efforts to maximize the amount you receive from your presale swap, we are migrating to a hybrid launch with DX.app.

Here’s what you need to know:

DX.app is a reputable launch platform but we uncovered additional fees that would negatively impact the Coyote Den community

DX.app wasn’t allowing us to launch on both chains same day (BSC & ETH networks) which we felt would hinder our growth at launch once presale cap is met

Handling the presale internally will allow us to open up to Phase 2 as soon as we hit the $750k mark

Those of you on the Phase 2 list will receive an email immediately when the $750k mark has been reached

Phase 2 will have access to purchase during the whitelist, whereas before it was possible that Phase 1 could purchase all of the presale

Rather than connecting your wallet directly to DX.app and swapping your BNB Smart Chain for Coyote Coin, you will be sending your BNB Smart Chain directly to an internally governed wallet
