Here's a harsh TRUTH 👉🏼 Not every content idea will work the way you think it will. 📱

It may look and sound amazing in your mind, but once you actually create the content, sometimes it doesn't look as good as you thought it would! 👀 And that's fine, just because it didn't turn out well doesn't mean you have to totally scrap the entire idea!

Here are three things you can ask yoursef why your idea didn't turn out well:
👉🏼 1. Examine what exactly isn't working for you! Is it the messaging, the graphics, the presentation, or maybe the actual subject?
👉🏼 2. Try to think of another way to make use of the idea! Maybe this idea is better off as an Instagram story, or maybe as a long text of Facebook post instead of an Instagram carousel? Sometimes, it's not about the content idea. Maybe your chosen content type is the problem.
👉🏼 3. Consider it for a different time. Maybe this idea will be better executed for a different ocassion or promo. When it comes to creating and publishing content, timing still plays a big part.

HERE'S A HOT TAKE 👉🏼 A huge follower count doesn't necessarily mean a successful social media account.

Why, you might ask.

Because as a Social Media Manager, I think true social media success can be seen in your engagement rate. 📈

It's in the relationship you've built with your followers. ✨

Do they interact with your posts? Do they stop scrolling when they see your posts? Do they like, comment, and save?

That's engagement.

What's the use of thousands and thousands of followers if 95% of them just scroll past your content and barely start a conversation with you?

Your social media engagement shows that your followers are truly interested in your brand and what you have to say.

Building a strong relationship with your followers should be a top priority, and everything else will follow.
