New episode 🔴
We’ve launched a super special episode this Friday 12th August because it’s Red Nose day!
Amy Hinton-Kench from Melbourne was devastated when her baby daughter Ayla Joy was stillborn on 2 May 2021. We share Amy’s story, including birthing, loving and losing her daughter.
We are including a trigger warning on this episode. We discuss stillbirth and child loss in this episode. so if you don’t feel up to it today, you may want to leave this episode for another day.
Amy received counselling support from Red Nose Australia, which helped her begin to process her loss. Amy then decided to create a 38-week & 5-day fitness challenge in honour of Ayla - who was called to be an angel at 38 weeks, 5 days.

New episode launched this morning and it’s a special one
This week we chat with @elliemays_homemadegoods and her husband Grant about their journey through infertility, IVF and to finally becoming parents through a Thailand adoption. International adoption during a global pandemic, hotel quarantines and language barriers just to add some spice to an already overwhelming journey, Elise and Grant candidly share their journey with us and we couldn't be more grateful.

Happy new year!
With a new year comes new beginnings and for many of our village those new beginnings will include sending our little lives off to school and care for the first time!
Sometimes it’s exciting, sometimes scary, sometimes sad and sometimes it’s even a mix of it all!
You heard from our terrific teacher @misslearningbee about how to prepare your kids for big school, but join us for this snack as Em and Kait talk about their experiences sending their babes off to care for the first time.
How was your first time? If it hasn’t happened yet, how are you feeling about your first drop off?
Let us know so we can hold you x
Want to empower yourself with knowledge on the menstral cycle and contraception? Tune right in. @mother.ful #contraception #menstralcycle #contraceptionmethods
New episode!! If you’re anything like us the extent of your education of contraception started with putting a condom on a banana one time in year 9, and ended with being started on the pill as a young woman.
Considering pregnancy is a monumental and life altering outcome, we think it’s pretty sh*tty that our education ended there!
We are thrilled this week to be joined by Dr Lauren Bracey @mother.ful who kindly taught us the period basics and all the types of contraception available. Even for two mums who’ve been in this space for a while, there were knowledge bombs for us too!
Did you get to have an open conversation around your contraception options, especially in the postpartum period?
Have you found a method that works for your body and your family?
We would love to hear!
Google: what is a crunchy mum. It pretty much sums up @holding__mama
New episode! Today we bite into a snack that leaves a funny taste in your mouth - Mother Stereotypes.
What we thought was something as simple as a Facebook meme or a title to help you find likeminded mums actually turns out to be so much more!
From ‘ideal mum’ to ‘lazy mum’ 🙄 where do you think you fit in?
Do you fit in to just one?
And better yet, do you need to fit into any of them at all?!
This conversation just reminded us of the most basic things we already know all of us mamas need - support, communication and validation.
No matter what kind of mama you are, there’s one thing we can all have in common - kindness 🥰
Tell us, do you think stereotypes help or harm? Or are they nothing more than a cheeky jab?
All of the little things you don’t think of that go a long way in making that transition to big school easier. Thanks @misslearningbee for all of your wisdom in our latest episode. Have you listened? What did you learn? What else helped your child’s transition easier?
It’s that time of year!
Chubby little faces sing Christmas songs and don their tiny preschool graduation gowns. It’s ADORABLE!
But finishing one phase means beginning another - the jump to ‘Big School’.
In our newest episode we are so excited to join with @misslearningbee and talk about all the things that come with getting our kids ready to start school. Practical preparation, emotional regulation and the common sense help that we can provide our kids to help them flourish in their new environment
The more I think about our big kids heading off to school the more emotions I feel, and I’m sure we aren’t alone in that!
Mamas are you ready for your kids to go to big school? What tips do you have for first timers?
Have you listened to our latest ep?
New episode out TODAY!! And a question as old as the chicken and the egg - how do you know when you are ‘done’?
Some women describe a feeling of fulfilment the moment that babe was placed in their arms and their family was complete.
Some loathe pregnancy and swear off childbirth again, only to repeatedly tell themselves ‘what’s one more’ #guiltyascharged
Some women don’t have the opportunity to make this decision at all.
Come join us for a chin wag as we share our own experiences.
Tell us mama, did you know when you were ‘done’?
What does it feel like?!
Ps. Has anyone ever done or heard about womb healing?
Have you listened to our ep yet with @themancave_aus @matt.defina ?
New episode - this morning!
November - the time of year where we tolerate our husbands new facial hair in the interest of raising awareness for Men's Health Issues.
We would argue though, that even greater than the nationwide lip rug, is the wonderful work of @themancave_aus ! We are so chuffed to talk with Matt Defina to help hold a light to the mental health of our boys, and how we can best support them to create a shift in the alarming statistics for men and suicide and domestic and family violence.
Matt reminds us what it's like to be a vulnerable teenager, and how we can work towards raising happy, healthy boys who are open to giving love and receiving love.
Are you a boy mama? We would love to hear what you think of this discussion xx
