Not only do they do a fantastic job in providing us with reliable news, they are active on social media platforms maintaining the ethics of journalism and professionalism. One of such rare journalists is Mr Abdullah Bego.

A revered father of journalism in North East, Nigeria and a winner of multiple prestigious awards, UNCLE BEGO as he is fondly called by some of our relatives and Associates is Predominantly known for his unbiased reporting and commentary on controversial matters, his nationalistic views on issues and his fruitful and honest journalism.

He symbolises style and class in journalism we hardly see in our nowadays journalist. Known for his suaveness and eloquence, this flamboyant journalism has set benchmarks for any inspiring journalist to look up to.

Yobe @ 31: Gov. Buni has taken service delivery to new level

As we celebrate the 31st anniversary of the creation of our beloved Yobe State today, we appreciate the sacrifices of those from the past who laid the foundation upon which we stand.

The last three years of Gov. Buni's administration have seen Yobe flown by, with astonishing progress, and one enduring constant in the passing years has been his unwavering commitment to selfless and patriotic service.

We must commend the several interventions and efforts of the present Buni administration for working even harder to provide basic social services that the people need and make the state grow stronger, including healthcare, education, agriculture, infrastructures and security.

Indeed, Gov. Buni has now taken this to a whole new level doing so much more with little resources. The governor is not only opening new frontiers in service delivery; he is significantly opening up the state for more business through partnership that succeeds.

Under Gov. Buni, Yobe is now growing from leaps and bounds as truly the 'Pride of the Sahel'. But there is still more work to be done, as the room for improvement they said, is the biggest space in the world.

Gov. Buni will continue to keep to his oath of office in making Yobe a better place for all. He has put his hands on the plough working for the growth and development of Yobe in all its ramifications and there is no looking back, forward EVER and backwards NEVER Insha Allah.

May Allah guide and bless him. May our dear Yobe State continue to be a better place for all.

Today 23rd March 2022, delegates of the Bego media veterans paid a courtesy visit to their Boss.

The Forum of Bego media veterans visited the Hon Abdullah bego Commissioner ministry of Wealth creation empowerment and employment generation in his new office at empowerment House Damaturu.
