This week, listener Erin writes: “Hi! I'm passionate about my spiritual business, but I'm struggling to find the right balance between following my passion and actually making money. Can you share some advice on how to create a sustainable business that still aligns with my passions and values?"
So this is a great question and a challenge every Modern Mystic Entrepreneur will eventually come up against.
In general, answering your calling is clearly less complicated if what you are called to do, the way you are called to serve the world, conveniently also happens to align with a “socially accepted” job and career like a kindergarten teacher, lawyer, accountant, or doctor.
When your calling falls into a career like this, you don’t have to spend time with those uncomfortable feelings about ‘profiting’ off of your passion.
But, on the other hand, what about when the thing you are most passionate about and are called to do is most definitely NOT a job that you can go online and apply for on Indeed.com?😉
What I am talking about here is when you have a calling just as strong, but a path less clear. Most Soul-Centered Entrepreneurs fall into this category.
So what does this mean?
Well, not only do we have to forge our own path to gain the insight, skills, and experience we need to share our gifts with the world, but we then also have to create our own business as well!
The good news is, the same strength, determination, and passion that got you here, to this place, where you have stepped into your power as a spiritual being and Modern Mystic are the same things that will be essential in building your business and making money.
And I promise you, you CAN make money while still being true to yourself and doing what you love.💜
