My scars remind me that I did indeed survive my deepest wounds. That in itself is an accomplishment.

They bring to mind something else, too. They remind me that the damage life has inflicted on me has, in many places, left me stronger and more resilient.

When is the last time you told yourself that you're proud of YOU...?

Ambition tends to make us extremely critical of ourselves, but lately I'm trying to be intentional about giving myself grace, and consistently affirming myself in positive ways!

I’m trying to experience life by creating a version of me that I’ve never known. The version that does things alone. It’s a struggle because it’s not my norm, but I’m trying.

Today, I'm just proud of how far I've come. I've been through a hell of a lot to get here, and I'm really loving the woman that is coming out of all of this.

She's pretty dope. She’s a good woman. I love her. 💜

And BTW, I'm proud of you too sis. You’re kind of a big deal as well. 💜🙌🏾🙌🏾🌱

Getting REAL with yourself and YOUR behaviors will be THE game changer YOU need. Of course the song you've been singing on repeat for the last 10+ years with your homegirls as backup singers is "ain't no good men out here!!"

How WOULD you see any good men when all you've been focused on are the ones who AREN'T good for you?

Stop 🛑 trying to be the woman who shows a man that "he needs to change his ways" and start being the woman who realizes that she needs to change HER ways.

And if you're out here obsessed with and focused on trying to make someone change from "bad, toxic" etc. into "perfect for you"
That's a really big issue. A really big YOU issue.

This is the season to be accountable and work on You!!
