I was going to post about this later, but we are just too d@mn excited. Wicked House Publishing is proud to announce the signing of Blaine Daigle's 4th novel ASHES OF AUGUST MANOR for release in late 2024/early 2025. - But also, for the first time ever, we are so entirely confident in an author's writing, that we have also signed his fifth, still unwritten, book tentatively titled PORCELAIN LULLABY for release probably in late 2025 to early 2026.

Ashes of August Manor:

Noelle, a tragedy-ridden hospice worker with a unique connection to death accepts a job caring for the dying patriarch of the reclusive August family at their lakefront manor just outside the town of Bell River, Oregon. The house does not have electricity, and the eccentric nature of the family is displayed through the grotesque artwork that lines the walls of the manor.

As she wrestles with her own struggles with understanding her connection to death, she is also plunged headfirst into the dark mysteries surrounding the August family. The dying patriarch who she is strangely never able to see. The head of the household incapable of giving a straight answer, and her son, and boy unable to speak but clearly terrified of something.

But above all, she must uncover the answers behind the ashen footprints she finds all over the house at night and the withered figure she sees looming at the tree line across the lake.
