This one took a while. Longer than I wanted to be honest, but it needed to be right. So I rewrote the script a few times, and re-recorded it twice, until it all came together. Fair warning, this is a heavy episode. It features my mother’s journey, something you might not know about her. Through family recordings from her Bat Mitzvah and my Bar Mitzvah, stories she shared before she died, and journal entries I uncovered afterwards hidden in drawers and even written on scrap pieces of paper. Special thanks to my friend Caitlin, who took on the monumental task of reading these journal entries for this episode, and my best friend John for his excellent sound engineering skills.
