Back in 2017 I re-mastered songs from several different releases by the band Phantom to put together a retrospective album called The Violence of Twilight. This tune always remeinds me of my friend Marc Lopes and his band Let Us Prey because of the outro. Some wicked metal.

MillRat was started in Providence, RI in 1992 by Josh Lyon with equipment and space from Paul Brown's Sound Principles Limited. Tom 'T-Buck' Buckland took over the reins in 1993 when the studio was moved to the Kinsley St. location. It was here that MillRat made the move from a small project studio to a full time facility catering to the incredible local music scene in Providence. From new young bands recording their first demos to established veterans recording incredible full length albums and projects that were picked up by both major and independent labels. In 1999 the building housing us was taken by eminent domain and I opted to begin freelancing at a number of incredible studios before finally putting together a home space in 2005 as MillRat Audio. I began working primarily in mixing and mastering with random location recording from New York to Florida. In 2018 I moved to Central New York and built a new mastering room, still mixing, still mastering.
