YOUNG MEN DON'T JOKE WITH THIS ADVICE.

S*x is sweet, but the consequence of lack of s*xual discipline is destruction

Many lives and destinies have been cut short and ruined just because they have no control over their s*xual urge.

Many men are in prison today just because they have no control over their s*xual appetite.

A man who lacks s*xual discipline is already a dead man because he is one step closer to his doom.

Let me tell you a mystery: the cheapest way the devil destroys men is through s*x; if he has tried every possible route to get you down and fails, his last resort is to send a woman your way most of the time for s*xual pleasure.

Study great men and find out how they were brought down, it's always through women(s*x).

You will joke with this now but you will learn the hard way.

Any man with s*xual discipline is truly a man with superpowers; he can't be conquered easily.

It's not every woman that you must pipe; learn to say no to some s*x, and don't make it a point of duty to always say yes to your erections.

Don't allow a five-minute pleasure to destroy your life, brothers.

Your p***s is your enemy until you know how to control it.

When you ask a girl out for s*x and she refuses, don't force it; put on your clothes and move on.

Be strong.

It will save you a lot, bro.

Stay putinized.

𝐂𝐫𝐨𝐩 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: 7 Tips for starting in mushroom farming in Africa

■ Start small: this will help you address the challenges of growing a new crop, like
mushrooms.

■ Plan, but understand that things will take longer than you think; you have to be patient and love what you are doing.

■ Identify your market before you get started, and secure contracts if that is an available option. Mushrooms are a highly perishable product so you need to know who you are going to sell to before you even get started.

■ Use good, healthy spawn (seeds) and compost. You can ask other mushroom farmers for recommendations to avoid wasting money on poor quality inputs.

■ Prepare for challenges like power outages which will impact your business if you are growing button mushrooms.

■ Network with other farmers, in-person and online: farming can be lonely at times, and meeting other farmers, even farmers that are not growing mushrooms will help you share ideas and discover new markets.

■ Get quality training: while mushrooms are relatively easy to grow, they also require
technical know-how. Investing in good training for your staff will help with limiting production challenges such as low production and contamination.

1. Selection of Seed Potatoes

a. Certified Seed Selection:
- Choose certified seed potatoes from reputable suppliers. Certified seeds are tested and free from diseases and pests.
- Look for varieties that are well-suited to your local climate and soil conditions.

b. Characteristics of Good Seed Potatoes:
- Medium-sized tubers (3.8 to 6.4 cm in diameter).
- Firm, with no signs of disease, rot, or damage.
- Presence of multiple eyes (buds), which will sprout into new plants.

2. Pre-sprouting (Chitting)

a. Purpose of Chitting:
- Encourages the development of strong sprouts before planting.
- Helps in early emergence and improves crop uniformity.

b. Steps in Chitting:
- Place seed potatoes in a well-lit, cool, and frost-free area for 4-6 weeks.
- Position them in trays or egg cartons with the eyes facing upwards.
- Maintain a temperature of 10-15°C.
- Monitor for the development of sturdy, green sprouts.

3. Cutting and Treatment

a. Cutting Seed Potatoes:
- Cut larger seed potatoes into smaller pieces, each with at least one or two eyes.
- Ensure each piece is around 42-56 grams.

b. Healing:
- Allow the cut pieces to heal by placing them in a warm (15-21°C), humid environment for a few days.
- This forms a protective layer over the cut surfaces, reducing the risk of rot and disease.

c. Treatment:
- Optionally, treat the cut seed pieces with a fungicide to protect against soil-borne diseases.

4. Soil Preparation

a. Soil Testing:
- Test soil for pH, nutrient levels, and organic matter content.
- Ideal pH for potatoes is between 5.0 and 5.5.

b. Soil Conditioning:
- Add organic matter such as compost or well-rotted manure to improve soil structure.
- Ensure good drainage as potatoes are susceptible to waterlogging.

5. Planting

a. Timing:
- Plant seed potatoes after the last frost date when the soil temperature reaches at least 10°C (50°F).

b. Plant

𝐏𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐫𝐲 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: Keys to successful brooding
1. Maintaining the correct temperatures and regularly checking temperatures. Thermometers should be at chick level.
2. Maintaining a clean dry well ventilated environment for the chicks. Without cold or draft areas.
3. Taking note of the smell in the brooding area, feeling the bedding make sure its dry and loose and listen to the chickens.
4. Always have feed and water available to chicks
5. Follow the vaccination program.
6. Most importantly maintain a high level of biosecurity.

Small holder Farmers Drought Coping
Strategies: Urea treatment of Maize stover

Step 1.
• How much roughage, for example maize
stover , do you have?

• Weigh what you want to treat.

Step 2.
• Use the ratio 1kg urea: 4litres water: 20kg stover

• Calculate how much Urea and water are
needed to treat the amount of feed(stover) that is available.

Step 3.
• Dissolve completely the urea in water by
stirring the urea-water mixture.

• Dip your hand in the solution and this
should be very cold.

• Even boiling water will become very cold
after pouring urea into it.

Step 4.
• Stack chopped stover on some impervious
floor (plastic sheet placed underneath is
ideal)

• A concrete bunker can be constructed to
serve this purpose and is more permanent
structure for this activity

• Some people even treat stover in houses
with cement floors

Step 5.
• Apply the urea solution to the stover using a
garden can rose (sprinkler) and mix with
garden forks, hands, etc

• This helps in evenly spreading the urea
solution to the stover

Step 6.
• Seal the stack of maize stover, after treating with gas-tight material such as reasonably thick plastic sheet.

• If concrete banker is used, only the top has
to be sealed although this should be
reinforced by covering it with soil.

Step 7.
• Leave the stack undisturbed for at least 4-5 weeks.

• During this time urea will break down,
releasing ammonia which will circulate in
the stack, treating the stover.

• Ammonia is a gas that is responsible for the
urine-like smell

Step 8.
• Open the stake and allow air to pass
through.

• This helps to disperse free ammonia from
the urea treated stover before it can be fed
to cattle.

☆ Note:
• You can keep the material being treated
with urea under the ensiling conditions for a
very long time without any loss in quality.

• There is need to note that cattle might
refuse to eat the urea-treated feed at first
because of the choking smell of ammonia,

• However, it will no

21/06/2024

𝐏𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐫𝐲 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: Poor growth uniformity (small birds and big birds in the same house, eating the same feed). Is feed to blame?

Poor uniformity is caused by many management problems. Since broilers will be eating the same feed in the same house, there is no way we can attribute the poor uniformity to the feed. The bigger broilers are not eating feed from a different source from the smaller broilers.

Common causes of lack of uniformity are managerial.

(i) Poor brooding - During the first 2 to 3 weeks of age, broilers require adequate temperatures and ventilation. Low temperatures at brooding stage can cause birds to have poor uniformity

(ii) Space - Birds should be given full space by 18 days of age. This is to say, birds should be stocked at 10 birds per m2 by 18 days of age. Overstocking birds causes uniformity problems.

(iii) Inadequate feeders and drinkers – , there are recommended ratios of equipment to be followed. If drinkers and feeders are
short, some birds won’t have access to feed and will grow smaller compared to the rest in the house. If one uses improper equipment (plates, cups, buckets etc.), birds will not have good access to the water and feed resulting in uniformity problems.

𝙋𝙞𝙜 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙙𝙪𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣: Castration

Male piglets are castrated when they are not to be used as Boars. This makes them docile for easy handling. Castration also removes the male smell from their meat.

It is important to seek the services of a veterinarian to castrate piglets.

Castration should be done early before piglets grow to 3 weeks of age because:

o The piglet is small and easy to hold

o At this age piglets recover quickly with little impact on growth

o The piglet is well protected with antibodies
