Whenever we talk about body image, we talk about body positivity. But is there is less discussed term, "Body Neutrality". And no, it doesn't just mean feeling neutrally about your body. It aims to take the focus off your appearance and appreciate it for what all it does for you. It is about putting comfort in clothes above looking a certain way. It is about eating for health and not for looking a certain way. It is about exercising for movement, to feel good and not look a certain way. It is about appreciating your hands for everything they can do, it is about being grateful for your legs for the distances they have travelled. More about this topic on my show tomorrow at 8 pm.
