Two years ago, my first ever show, “Vibin’ with Jo”, made it’s premiere on WMUW, 88.5 The Edge.

Today I’m just reminiscing. I’m thinking about the first playlist I ever made, the first script I wrote in my notes app, and all the anxiety I felt hours before the show.

Just wanted to come on here to show love and gratitude. ❤️

That’s a wrap, WMUW!

My last show was last Friday, but I really wanted to take the time to give a huge thank you to everyone who tuned in or watched me on Facebook live. Your support means the world to me, and I hope I was able to bring some joy into your lives.

Also, huge thank you to the director, Harlan for being an incredible mentor over the past two years.

No matter where I go or what I do, 88.5 The Edge will always have a place in my heart.

Can’t wait to show you what’s next.

To my amazing listeners:

I sincerely apologize for my inactivity on this page. In all and complete honesty, school got busy and Life happened behind the scenes. And I truly just didn’t have much time, or energy for that matter, to manage this page like I wanted. Especially in the final season.

As you may know, I will be graduating from the W May 7th. Which sadly means I will have to say goodbye to Vibin’ With Jo.

Two years ago when I first started this show, I honestly had no idea what I wanted it to be. It was my first ever radio gig, so I wanted everything to be just right.

As time went on, I let perfection out the window and became more confident with who I was not only as a radio personality, but as a person. From then on, I just let things flow.

The main intention from the very beginning, was for you to come listen every Friday to either use me as background noise, or temporarily escape from reality and have the feeling of hanging out with one of your friends.

With all that being said, I will be airing VWJ for the final time here on Facebook live on May 6 from 6-6:30. Then again from 7:30-8.

If you’re able, I would love for you to join in. Listen to music, Ask questions, hear wild stories, and just have a good ol’ time. Hope to see ya there.

I’ve missed you 💜 I wanted to hop on here real quick to give you some important updates:

1.) From here on out, I will be going live on YouTube. Once I get things finalized, I will post the link to my channel!

2.) I’m now telling random stories from the internet… or from you! If you have a petty revenge story or “Am I the A**hole?” type story you wanna send, please feel free to send it to [email protected]!

Couple ground rules tho:
-please keep it short and concise. I’m not gonna have time to read a 3 page story 😭

-Please keep it clean. Since I’m on the radio, I gotta follow FCC rules and guidelines.

-Do not include anyone’s real name
