I love hearing women’s stories. When I hear a woman’s professional story it’s often filled with sacrifice, guilt, doubt, family, obstacles, rewards, discovery, warmth, doubt, creativity, joy, vulnerability, doubt...the repetition of doubt is purposeful here. There truly is no limit to what Women can do! Thank you to those that have come before us and those that will come after. Let’s push past the limits put on us and move forward with courage and believe in ouselves - we can do it!

Someone asked me recently for a distilled description of what LESSONS FOR A LIFE IN MOTION was about. I thought for a moment and gave my answer - This book may mean different things for each reader, but, in my purview it’s about being your best YOU in an environment such as a corporation, a university, school, workplace or any other institution that asks you to conform to a set of rules or expectations of behavior. This is an environment where you, the individual can often feel like your identity is lost or perhaps you don’t know what your identity is. The topics we highlight in the book were chosen purposefully to provide you, the reader, with evidence and real stories to demonstrate each concept. More importantly, all of the topics put together as a whole give anyone - seasoned professional or recent high school grad - a comprehensive start at figuring out - What do I want my story to be?
