July is poised to be one of the hottest month in history.The US has recorded over 100°C this month.Hundreds of people die from extreme heat in the US every year.The Biden administration has set aside $7 million for improving weather forecasts,new steps to protect workers and making drinking water more accessible.
If Greenhouse Gases are not curtailed, temperatures will increase significantly posing a threat to people, ecosystems & the economy.
