Today's spin.

It's been awhile since I've listened to it. I mean really listened to it. It's great. I put it on and so many memories came flooding back. I was instantly transported to fall 1990. That's when copied my friend Eric's cassette.

I listened to this a lot while i was walking to school or hunkered down in my room reading Stephen King instead of studying. I hated most of my teachers and was resentful of having to go to a high school that was more like a minimum security prison.

The only things that got me through that time and place were music, movies and my friends.

Along with Amy and Engineer Eleanor, music, movies and my friends are still the things that help me navigate this strange world.

Wow! This post turned into an unexpected therapy session!

Tune in tomorrow when I explain why a traumatic event from my teens prevents me from eating French Toast.
